Im a freestyle ski judge you guys, as well as a freestyle coach. Grabs add style yes but that is not what we were training for! There is not competition that exists that would give you any points for grabs. we were training inverts, not grabs. And for the record, our snow jumps on our airsite are larger than 40 ft. This is only used to qualify inverts.
3s on a 25 footer? wow the kids in the video own your whole team.. go hit 40 fters and atleast thro down a 7, that was directed at madchronic sick video guys wish i had sumin like that in the summer
we all know backflips...backflips are the easiest inverts, we are way past that now and just so u know btownbmx, we get absolutely no points for grabs in our halfpipe, mogul, big air, slopestyle and rail competitions. grabs dont do anything for us. snowboarding comps are based on grabs, we can do them but we dont do them in competition. make sure u know wat ur talkin about next time..thxx, ♥Alycia♥
your right about the backflips but grabs are WAY important grabs are what bring in the style element which is one of the biggest part of any freestyle ( not olympic style) competition. you should grab way more and grabs arnt all that easy.... try doing a cork 9 with a double grab like octo or double japan. i think u should know a bit more what ur talking about before going crazy
its not dangerous we wear drysuits and some of us wear life jackets, but the drysuits keep you afloat. then you paddle out using your arms. People training for the x games, olympics, and provincial and national freestyle and aerial team members in many countries use the water ramp to train and prepare for various events, and competitions.

isn't it dangerous to jump in the water with skis on?
they could get tangled, you wouldn't be able to kick back to the surface...
right?
