  • It's because they aren't white

  • @albinshajann hahahaha

  • There actually are stop lights, but no one pays any attention to them. The soldier/traffic cop that is standing there in the intersection directs people.

  • Egyptians have a question mark over their heads now so what? :D

  • i miss my country..

  • Somehow it works! I love Cairo!

  • it's the samething everyday...!!!!

  • Did anyone else notice that the time skipped a second? 1:00 to 1:02

  • I'm not sure why they have a pedestrian crossing! What's the point? lol :|

  • @GodReignsInMe Pedestrian crossing don't work, no-one know what the lines on the road mean, not even the police, I have been driving in Cairo for 12 years now and when I first got here I stopped at a pedestrian crossing, almost caused one huge pile up and copped an ear full of abuse.

  • hahaha... thats the corner of my street.... its always like that :( but thank god .. i am always lucky to find a parking spot.

this is taken from the hotel at the opposite corner of mine..

  • traffic lights might be useful....

  • new york is nothing compare to this

  • I was in Egypt I year ago today.... Oh how I miss the excitement of busy Cairo and all the horns of course! I'd like to go back one day!

  • @BieberChick14 they say if u drink from the Nile u will come back for it xD

  • WOW!!

  • miss egypt

  • I don`t know how they make it work but they do! You just couldn`t control the huge amount of traffic with lights and rules lol! You could watch it for hours and there are not as many accidents as you would think! Was fascinated by "the Egyptian way" when I was there and actually felt pretty safe on the road - you do need to be awake though!

  • i love this view i wish imy home have this view

  • DUDE THIS MUST BE GTA6 EGYPT CITY PS3 HAHAHAHAHA

  • this is madness

  • @Terror696969

    THIS IS EGYPPPPPPPT!!!

    Kick*

  • egypt ...7000 year history

  • Pedestrian Rule #1: the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. These guys understand that one!

  • Yeah! That's it! Brings back great memories! I lived there 15 years! Depending on how one takes it, it can either be fun or hell to be inside this traffic! A time lapse of this traffic footage could be cool :)

  • Dude, in a packed city of 27 million, let me know how traffic lights would work....

  • Even though this way of driving seems insane to me and my American driving sensibilities, I LOVE Cairo! And I love it that Egyptian people make this craziness work. Cairo is of my favorite places in the world....

  • @BeckyinAtlanta you are welcome anytime

  • شاهد مع أصدقاءك شاعر الشرق الجديد إضغط على فيديو fahdsakr

  • If you can, you should show Tahrir Square by Ramses Hilton.

  • cairo contain approximately 19,000,000 person>> so no compare

  • It's not in one minute. it's in 1 minute and 2 seconds!

  • @AlbinShajan amd 152 miliseconds ;)

  • This video shows me that Cairo has a lot of traffic and it very loud. It looks like it's very busy during the day and night.

  • cairo is real action

  • Cairo is FUN !!

  • The manufacturers should not install horns.. people needs sleep ¬_¬

  • Basicly the concept of asian intersections is just a place where you try to weeve your way through. Even in the capital city of my province ( Edmonton ) it is not this bad.

  • Err.. Edmonton has less than a quarter of the residents in Cairo. Bad comparison.

  • wemasoud- actually its more like an eighth the size of Cairo, from what I understand the city of Edmonton is about 752,000- its urban area 1,090,000. Cairo proper is well over 8,000,000 the metro area about 17,000,000. Not meaning to be fussy, just an observation* I agree btw

  • related2lizzieBORDEN- Cairo is in the continent of Africa, not Asia

  • i will go there next week...but i will not rend a car!!!

  • take the subway, it is the fastest and takes you all over. just check to see where you are needing to go a make sure it goes there. one LE per ticket so it is cheaper than the taxi.

  • Why even drive? It's walking speed down there.

  • Been there, done that. The first time I went to Cairo, I had to lay down and hide my eyes in the backseat of a taxi because I was so terrified.

  • dude, this is not abnormal, this is as best as it could get, you should really see our rush hour, hahaha

  • no doubt, i have to agree! this is nothing :), but then again, it looks different when you sit inside the car LOL
