@weemankyle "Line 6 Big Bottom - Just can't seem to get enough bottom end out of your cabinet? Try punishing it with Big Bottom. We crossed our model of a Boogie Triple Rectifier® with a model of a Rivera Los Lobottom sub rig and dialed it in for serious disembowelment. But it’s not just about the bass. A super wide midrange control and an extra present high midrange maintain articulation and power throughout the tonal range of this amp."

@coolboy92173 It does not require batteries, you have to plug it directly to the wall with the power supply that comes included when you buy your Pod.
@RsGhost1 I have both, and you know, I drive myself up the wall comparing them! X3 is much brighter, actually it sounds a little wimpy to me, but it does have more clarity. X3 seems more nu-metal, soft, not enough midrange for me. It has a lot of the same amps, but they sound COMPLETELY different. Maybe I'm just used to the XT, but I think I prefer it. Don't know. Better or worse, the X3 and XT sound COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I have a couple videos with the XT you can check out if you like.
@gram440a Thanks for sharing, I love my XT. It sounds really nice. To really compare I should try an X3 out myself some time. It has some extra bells and whistles, I'd love to try one out :)

@Scr3wHe4d Oh can imagine there the same quality, i just want the highest model since i do have the money to waste now lol I got in a car crash got compansation from injury
So i'm after the most expensive model ;) I'm using it to record anyway ;)
@WinterMadness05 Between the X3 and the XT I prefer the first, you have more models and also the capability of recording Bass and vocals, also you can create sounds using two diferent virtual rigs or amplifiers. On the other hand if you are still undecided pls wait for my new HD models demo, the new POD HD features a new step in modelling technology and maybe you like it better.
Yes, of course you can, directly thru the guitar imput or in the power in of the loop efect to use just the power section of your amp and the Line 6 as a preamp.
This is definitely the best Model for Djent. I use it with an Agile 7-String Explorer (EMG 707 Pickups) and it nails the Meshuggah Obzen tone.

So are the drum beats from say pro tools or are they on the line 6??? thanks
chickabuka 7 months ago
@chickabuka They won't be from the line 6 - it's only a model(ler), all it does is change the sound of your guitar/bass/vocals.
ShrapnelHunter 7 months ago
Hey Martin,
Is this straight out of the POD or did you improve it after with plugins? (EQ, Compression etc...)
Much thanks!

I would like to hear some 7 string chugging with the big bottom amp models!

@mattiethedrummer616
Here's a link. Check it out. I absolutely love it.
It's Alex Wade from Whitechapel on an 8 string ESP LTD FM-418
It's the Line 6 Big Bottom with a Red Wirez Mesa Cab.
I know it's not 7 string, but it's low end if that's what you were looking for.
Hope this helps. :D

@weemankyle It´s just a Line 6 original amp, it´s not based on any amp.

That tone sounds pretty mean, how well do you guys reckon the POD XT is in comparison to the X3? Soundwise.

ok thanks, and is it fairly easy to get the tone you want?
xNodhead62x 2 years ago
Yes, in fact if you know the amp and effects your favourite player uses you can dial in the X3 and get really near the tone you´re looking.
