I don't know the male singer who did this, but I would be interested also in hearing it. Possibly Poerter Wagoner. However, this song and written and sung by Dolly Parton some forty years ago is excellent. It is for songs like that, she has been considered a true pioneer for women in country music and for women in general.. The Bargain Store was another daring song in its time and still is today.
can anyone tell me the guy who sing the male version, of this song? I cant find it on google or youtube. i had it on cassette but i left it in canada a few years ago.
Dolly Parton (real name Jean O'Dealy) is a real dutty southern cunny trap. She got so many skeletons it ain't funny. She used to let Kenny fist her asshole, their orgies are well known in country music circles. Her real husband is a fag so he don't never mind. Everyone thinks she is so sweet but her behaviour sickens me. Using her tight tight cunt to get what she wants is no way for the Christian to act now.

Thanks D2Parton for sharing this song. Its always a pleasure to listen to Dolly songs. I live in Denmark and there´s no many country songs stores. I appreciate could you please post " its such a heartbreak" its a number from the real love album. Thanks
I always got the feeling this song has mystery undertone. A girlfriend of a close friend likes this song and alway listen to it when she visits him. After this friend used her and destroyed her reputation, he left her to the surprise of everybody. Since then the lady could not recover from the broken relationship.
you know if you really listen to this song it's actually very true. if a man makes the same mistake as a woman the woman is sooo much worse than the man. YOU GO DOLLY! I LOVE YOU! YOUR AMAZING!
her voice is so thrilling and emotional... she sings from the bottom of her heart although many people think she is fake..... she is a woman of flesh and blood.. thats what she is....!!
Have you seen "Dolly in Concert" AKA "Dolly in London", her 1983 concert film? Dolly arrives in London and has to declare herself to a Customs official, I think.
Official: "What is your name?"
Dolly: "Dolly Parton."
Official: "What do you do?"
Dolly: "I'm an entertainer."
It's funny because in America everybody knew who Dolly is but in Britain at the time she had to explain who she was.
I guess Country music is not very popular in Britain but there are some British fans like you.
at that time country music was just becoming popular in the uk which is why she was asked to introduce herself. i went to see her in cardiff and she still introduces herself before singing
I have the origional copy on cassette tape I have the female version and the respond to the song by the male I will be posting it as soon as I can you're gonna love both if you love this song And to all those who think dolly is the origional song writter She is not and actually the origional is way better than dolly's version send me a message if you want a copy thanks
actually i know the version you are talking about but it isn't the original it was recorded about a year after dolly recorded it. my grandmother also has both versions and i checked the dates. also there is no way that anyone sings this better than dolly i mean the writer is generally not always the better person to sing this song.
Dolly Parton wrote "Just Because I'm a Woman" after her husband asked her if he was the first man she had ever had sex with and she said no and he was very hurt. Dolly could have lied to her husband but she chose to be honest.
Dose anyone have the origional versions of this song Dolly parton is not the origional singer of this song I have the two versions on cassette tape I recorded it 3 years ago but I don't know the singers they are I believe an irish couple if you can help please send me the link to the song or send the names thank you in advance
I also am looking for the original singer but cannot find anything on the internet. Every time I search it brings up Dolly Parton. But I know there's an older slower version of this song and I can't find it anywhere!!! Help!!
wonderful song. could you please help upload songs from the album 9 to 5. songs like Deportee, Dungeon, oh I love you etc. please anyone could help on this medium. these songs are great anytime & I love them. thanks D2Parton.
I don't have the album 9 to 5, but any other requests that I may have on compilations and that just ask and I'll put them up. Dolly is always great! Glad you liked it!
I remember the first time I had this song I was 9yrs I didn't know what its was reaaly all about, but I felt for its; and I'm happy that now I'm 28yrs and I can got a chance to listen to the words and their meaning love u Dolly
this is the original from her first album. i've loved the song since i bought that album over thirty years ago. i like the remake that she did a few years ago, because of the instumentation, but the words will always be true
Great feminist song! :D

so true:
Now a man will take a good girl
And he'll ruin her reputation
But when he wants to marry
Well, that's a different situation
He'll just walk off and leave her
To do the best she can
While he looks for an angel
To wear his wedding band

0.44 is inaccurate. Diana was stripped of the title 'princess', remember; she just went as ... Diana, princess of Wales.
