That is what I have ......Playing left4dead2 and call of duty modern warfare 2 at 1680X1050........not maxed out but is VERY playable looks great........upgrading very soon to a hd 5870.......but I'm happy untill then........

You don't have to own the latest hardware to play the latest games at high resolution .......I'm also running a AMD phenom II 955 quad core with an asus m4a79t motherboard with 4 gb of ram.

@dilonuk so you have no need for a high end GPU yet you get a REALLY high end MOBO. that makes no since and a poor money management. if you get a MOBO like that you need the CPU/GPU/RAM to compliment that MOBO. as in you need to suck as much juice out of that MOBO as you can.

pretty cool but, why would you but an i7, but only get a 4870? Its seems that with such a high end CPU, it should be complimented with something a little newer like a 5770. Just my opinion.

nice but i would change the 4670 for a 5770 or it's older brother the 5850 if you really want nice graphics with dx11..
