@greeneyesj17362 Correct. I don't own any SR material in any other editions. Great ideas. But man I hate netrunning and I *never* understood the magic system.
@tetsubo57 I'm playing 2nd edition with someone who's been playing since '92. I haven't figured out the magic system either, but my GM has, and I'm working one it. And i could do away with PC netrunning too.
@Lidespam RPGs started out as books in 1974. I've been collecting them since 1978. I have the largest collection that I have ever personally seen. Though I have heard of larger. I have them in every genre. It's one of my obsessions. :)
That is a huge collection. I currently have about 300 rpg books. Use to have the same book case you have in your bedroom and had that same stove in my old apt. Well done video.
Not meaning to be nitpicking but that 'calendar' is actually Aztec. Also the Aztec monument this is a copy of is not an actual functional calendar but rather it refers *to* the calendar as used by the Aztec and their contemporaries.
Nice place with lots of interesting stuff. Thanks for making me realize that my RPG collection really isn't getting too big yet and I can easily add some more games to it. ;-)
I'm the oldest in my RPG group and among the oldest in the online Dutch-language RPG forums I frequent. I also seem to be one of the few people there actually interested in checking out and acquiring new gaming materials.
Most roleplayers here seem to stick to a couple of favourite games and at a certain moment also stop buying more supplements for those games.
Though I tend to focus on D20 material I do enjoy finding more obscure games. I am ordering one this morning called Deathstalker, I've never heard of it before today.
My most recent buy was Barbarians of Lemuria (Legendary Edition), an excellent rules-light swords & sorcery game. I'm also awaiting delivery of two supplements for Hollow Earth Expedition, which is highly recommendable if you enjoy pulp adventure!
Why is your first edition stuff by a litterbox? Does that say something? Just kidding.
Secondly, in your Library I'd really cover the window a bit more. Not for theft or anything like that, but the light does tend to fade covers like all get-out. I keep my (notably much smaller) shelf in my walk-in closet for this reason.
And finally the explanation for why you alre always so bundled up during your videos...
That is actually a scratching post, The litter box is in the bathroom.
WE keep the blinds up in the library to take advantage of what little solar gain as is available. WE keep them closed in the summer to cut down on the heat gain.
Yep, my place is not warm, 55 in my office at the moment.
But at least you have a place to put the stuff. My house is huge, but there's so much junk and mess everywhere, I can't really fit anything that isn't another book.
I gave it to a dealer who is looking into selling it off. I just wasn't using it and I could use the money. I did however take a picture of every comic in the collection before I got rid of it.
good lord wow all those games and book

Hehe. If I had this amount of paper in my apartment, I'd want to live across the street from the fire department as well.

Thanks. I thought it would be better than, "the box next to the other box on the right..."

Thank you. It's only taken 31 years to put it together. You should have seen the 2nd edition AD&D section before I sold it off. :)
