I love this! I get SO pissed off when girls act this way! I'm a Navy wife, my best friends husband is in the National Guard, my brothers were in the Marines and I have other various friends that are in different branches. We are ALL in this together, and we are NOT in high school anymore... *facepalm*
I believe it's age related too... Being overseas in living in those stairwell housing. People LOVE to make drama for others and make life a living hell for others. I don't understand it myself. Having God, my husband and all those ladies at church to be supportive is what helped me through it. Many women do not understand what sisterhood means. I am happy to see the statuses from these women that miss their loved ones. That means, they are supporting like you said and not out cheating. :)
I'm not a military wife but my friend Cassidi is an I absolutely LOVE seeing her post about her husband! I get excited for her when her count down of days he gets home is getting near the 'day' lol. she is a awesome wife an I appreciate her husband Travion an her supporting him. they are a inspiration not just to military ppl but to us civilians too. :)

i am proud to say i am OORAH but i'm not overly OORAH lol but i support any man/woman in the military because if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have what we have i am a proud military wife and i.m.o it takes the strongest women/men in the world to be in love and be with a military member we may go through hell and back but at the end of the day it is worth it

very true. I can't lie and say it doesn't annoy the crap out of me sometimes when I see a post that says "I've been away from Johnny for five minutes and I miss him so much!!" (always civilians) it's never made me angry when I see another military member/ significant other posting that. but that's just me, I know wives that it makes them angry regardless.

I saw this video when it first came out and i had to watch it again. Just last night I delt with another wife bashing someone for putting annoying statuses about missing her man just because he's been gone for about 3 weeks now. I called her out for it and used some things you said and she shut up and deleted her post. just like you said those statuses are not for everybody else they are for him!
My sister is in the AF and when she left to BMT, I was the first one to write and send her a letter once she called us about her address and I sent her one EVERY DAY since then. She told me how embarrassed she was at mail call for the first two weeks (it takes my letters that long since I live s far) when she had no mail, but she was so happy she cried when she got my first letter. Usually it was just me writing and I'm happy knowing how THEY KEPT HER STRONG. Thanks for letting me know :)

yeah man, everyone cried when we got that 1st mail call lol. Shit was crazy, my girlfriend wrote me everyday. Me & her would date our letters so we could keep track. Those letters are like your life while in basic!
I love this! while my fiance was at AF basic training I wrote him at least one letter a day and I remember when I finally got a phone call from him to tell me he had made it safe i was so sad missing him, and then when he finally got another phone call him in the 10 minutes he had he told me how he cried reading my letters and tat it was what kept him going everyday... and you're right civilian girls don't get it they try but dont and I had to go through 8 months without anyone it sucks sometime
i have a complicated relationship with a marine. when he was in basic, i sent him a huge envelope full of letters i had written over a period of about 4 months. i wrote about a letter a day, and they were all in that envelope. the reply i got was short, heartfelt, and meant everything to me. thanks for this video. u are completely right

I used to be all super military until I realized it was to much. I scraped my Navy wife sticker off, took off my lame navy wife license plate border and added Hello Kitty. I don't care to wear memorabilia that is associated with military. Why? Because I'm not in it..
I do choose to buy stuff for my family. I get more joy doing that then buying that shit myself.

I just got told by a civilian the other night that I should have tried to get out of the military when I was pregnant with my daughter & that I should try to get out of deploying because of her. Both my husband and I are deploying next year. Our baby will be staying with her gramma and grampa. But that friend saying that made me feel like I was being a bad mom because I'm willing to sacrifice a year away from my family for our country. I guess she just doesn't understand.

Ive been so scared to cry, so afraid people would judge me, so scared people would think i didnt love and support my husband because it hurts that he is gone, and i rarerly get to speak to him. You do know that us "wives" are not always the ones staying behind in the fight on terrorism. There are mothers and wives out there that are also in the military and deployed while their husbands write those letters.....
This is an awesome video! We've been a military family since 1992. In those days we never had the internet, email, or FACEBOOK! When my man was TDY, we had snail mail, and $500 phone calls! AND we recorded a cassette tape just so we could hear each other's voices! Ya'll got it good, lmao.

I used to be an USAF girlfriend, and it was some of the best spent time of my life. Us women grow and learn so much through the experience and it made my pride grow immensely. Support is the key.

Been a really tough transition !!

Holy crap! I <3 this! Army wife right here! Let me say all these things listed are the reason why I am an glad I never lived on post. Obviously these things happen off post too but it seems so much more worse on post. Maybe some of these military wifes/girlfriends/fiances (whatever) will see this and realize how stupid and immature they are. And P.S. that also reflects on your man!

As a military wife and a military member, I'm on both ends and I agree we are fighting the same battle whether we are deployed or keeping the fort down at home. We need to be more supportive and less caddy. People handle stress and deployments differently. I've been apart from my husband 2 out of the 3 years we've been married and we have a 10 year old son and twin 1 year old girls and it doesn't get easier every time. It may for some and it may not for others, and I am one it doesn't.

I saw this video when it first came out and i had to watch it again. Just last night I delt with another wife bashing someone for putting annoying statuses about missing her man just because he's been gone for about 3 weeks now. I called her out for it and used some things you said and she shut up and deleted her post. just like you said those statuses are not for everybody else they are for him!

My sister is in the AF and when she left to BMT, I was the first one to write and send her a letter once she called us about her address and I sent her one EVERY DAY since then. She told me how embarrassed she was at mail call for the first two weeks (it takes my letters that long since I live s far) when she had no mail, but she was so happy she cried when she got my first letter. Usually it was just me writing and I'm happy knowing how THEY KEPT HER STRONG. Thanks for letting me know :)

yeah man, everyone cried when we got that 1st mail call lol. Shit was crazy, my girlfriend wrote me everyday. Me & her would date our letters so we could keep track. Those letters are like your life while in basic!

I love this! while my fiance was at AF basic training I wrote him at least one letter a day and I remember when I finally got a phone call from him to tell me he had made it safe i was so sad missing him, and then when he finally got another phone call him in the 10 minutes he had he told me how he cried reading my letters and tat it was what kept him going everyday... and you're right civilian girls don't get it they try but dont and I had to go through 8 months without anyone it sucks sometime

i have a complicated relationship with a marine. when he was in basic, i sent him a huge envelope full of letters i had written over a period of about 4 months. i wrote about a letter a day, and they were all in that envelope. the reply i got was short, heartfelt, and meant everything to me. thanks for this video. u are completely right

I used to be all super military until I realized it was to much. I scraped my Navy wife sticker off, took off my lame navy wife license plate border and added Hello Kitty. I don't care to wear memorabilia that is associated with military. Why? Because I'm not in it..
I do choose to buy stuff for my family. I get more joy doing that then buying that shit myself.

Thanks for makin' this. I just got told by a civilian the other night that I should have tried to get out of the military when I was pregnant with my daughter & that I should try to get out of deploying because of her. Both my husband and I are deploying next year. Our baby will be staying with her gramma and grampa. But that friend saying that made me feel like I was being a bad mom because I'm willing to sacrifice a year away from my family for our country. I guess she just doesn't understand.

I washed some of your other videos and you are one of the sweetest guys I have every heard. I am a Marine wife with a 17 month old daughter and we have a lot of that going on our base. So thank you again for opening some of the military wives eyes and make them understand a little more. I grew up with family in the military so i got use to it all.

I used to be an USAF girlfriend, and it was some of the best spent time of my life. Us women grow and learn so much through the experience and it made my pride grow immensely. Support is the key.
