it's an atlantic canadian accent, which is really quite different from that of a canadian accent.

this was filmed in cape breton, in nova scotia, which is, quite obviously, in atlantic canada.

Atlantic canada is different because Quebec separates us from the rest of canada. Ontario and the west have the canadian accent. Atlantic canada must have something but I'm not really sure what it sounds like because I live here and don't notice it.

Ironically, even though I was born and raised in America, down South in Phoenix, Arizona, I have an English accent and I've never been to England.
