when you really love the sun and surrender to it with respect and trust. When you really realize and admit that the sun powers our earth and bodies directly and indirectly, nothing can happen to your eyes.

During the "unsafe" periods use an angled mirror. You have to 'shade' the glare to cut reflection but generally you want to see a point of light. Gaze at this for abut 2o mins & then close your eyes. You will get a VERY pleasant surprise.

Oh-one other thing (actually 2) about the exercise. WEAR A HOODED GRMENT. It makes no sense to take light in & then have it leak out. Cover the head with a dark hood draped just past the brow.Keep the head down.Yes your eyes EMIT RADIATION as much as they take in. 2nd:'Gazing' is NOT only one mehtod.Your mouth being a cavity is much like a cave; breathe in w/the mouth slightly open &the tongue positioned to create a sliver of light.

Open the esophagus being sure the back of the throat is moist.This is so the light reflects. Now shape your throat to feel a path all the way down to the abdomen as if making a sound like the "bleat of a goat", or glottal stop, the KMTIC 'A' or Hebrew Ayain. NOT 'Ah' or 'Oh' but somewhere in the middle, like 'bottle'.This sound is the SHAPE OF THE BREATH to draw the light in. If you saw the film "Legend" you understand what that last scene with the mirror was all about.

hmmm, one time smoked some mary, and the interesting thing was i was very very very attracted to the sun, so i started gazing at the outer ring, and after about "lost time" i realized iwas actually staring into the sun. Then when i looked away i saw lots of purple around me. very theraputic, need to go back to that, Nice to meet you man.
