Love it! I'm glad that McLaughlin has found Trilok Gurtu as well. McLaughlin was there in the beginning along with others such as Joe Zawinul, the pioneer in jazz fusion regarding the use of electric keyboards.

I'm so excited because McLaughlin is coming to Sweden now!!

Yes i gathered the distinction, however as i earlier stated i prefer the acoustic performances better. And despite what incarnation he performs in i find it odd he does not use the guitar he had developed for this specific genre.

But none the less it is an excellent show.

Me too! He is always great and I appreciate it all. But I miss the real acoustic guitar with a mic. The electric stuff is just not the same. I feel the same way about his nylon string timbre. Its a plugged in sound. Just the guitar nad the mic Maestro. It sounds better.

What a fantastic video of Shakti. It's great to see them again...this is a great redux of a great group. I saw them in Chicago many moons ago at the Ivanhoe Theatre...these Shakit vids on YouTube are priceless!
