and it works like it should!

    thnx alott!

  • is they any cheap stores online or like an art store or something like that i live in canada ontario torotno ?

  • where do you buy glass rods (small)

  • @Matta212121 i get my rod and tubing from winship designs in eugene oregon, now a part of glasscraft.

  • As always, great tips, many thanks for sharing.

  • will any old carbide edge do ? harbor freight has carbide stuff with edges for cheap.....

  • @sonick808 yes, any carbide edge should work just fine. ;-)

  • @acroduster cool deal :) hey I went to the yellow pages on a whim based on what you said, and managed to get a free end mill from a local shop just like you said. So, problem solved, works great! thanks so much.

  • @sonick808 told ya!-) its an awesome use for a end mill that is otherwise past its useful life.

  • uhm i was looking at glass bong hits and ended up here, im glad.

  • i found this video by accident while looking for something else but i'm glad i watched it! what a great tip!

  • Great tip.

  • Awesome tip man, always a wealth of helpful knowledge.

  • The edge of a file (I use a smaill 3 corner file) works great and are cheap.

  • heck yes! thats the classic method from scientific glass work! and its is awesome! I still use the file method at times, just depends on what I am doing specifically.-) thanks for the comment and the suggestion! that rocks. I cant believe I forgot to mention files!-(

  • What about a lathe bit? :)

  • they work great, thought the chances of getting one with enough left on it to use is slim. most machine shops even the small one I owned tends to re sharpen and use lathe tools till they are little more than a nub.-) but end mills are such a bitch to regrind, that most just replace them now.-)

  • is this good for any size rod/tubing?

  • i use old end mills for scoring all rod and tubing. though I tend to personally prefer flame cutting tubing over 25mm. but thats just preference.

  • You are too cool!

  • that was pretty cool. Im sure you just saved some ppl some money.

  • damn

    acro overload!
