what a wonderful product, this is the way of Thinkpad! wondering to buy one, but don't know how clear the script can i have using the pen. Will it be like the real pen script on a white paper?? Wanna try

True on the graphite and paper.. i'm looking for a present for my wife and something else then fooling around with laptop and Wacom tablet but yeah.. maybe a Asus Eee slate is the key. I never thought about those buttons..kinda suck if you keep bumping them while drawing.

I'm a bit disappointed with LENOVO for not promoting this product well. It goes on sale tomorrow, 8/23, and I can't even configure my pre-order? I would love to see an essentials only education tablet from LENOVO, either with a web OS acquisition or current android. Remember, Apple survived because of the education market for a while, this would make for incredible positioning in emerging markets/developing countries, perhaps poorer countries with strong education traditions, my 2 cents ;-)

Is there included software what allows you to interact directly with PDFs using the Digitizer pen? for example, I could use it to make corrections or notes on a PDF and save them or whatnot. That would sell it for me as a student.

Why not being more consequent? How about a Tablet device with 16-way SMP multi-GHz CPU with hydrogen cooling (using vaporized water from the air we breath?), multi-Petabyte storage, quantom cryptography..

Nice tablet which I look into buying. Besides business execs in suits and ties, I'd like to see Lenovo promoting the tablet for other users: artists doing sketches and storyboards and then presenting those in game development or design brainstorming sessions, photographers making use of the SD and USB, directors using the keyboard to write and the pen to sketch shooting layouts. I think there's a large number of people in those fields who would use this tablet.

@digitallysane Indeed. Using digitizer pens to take notes on a tablet is like using a hunting knife to spread butter. This tablet would make huge sellings among artists by focusing on such market, and bundling software that allows you to use it as a tablet.
