  • @808raised I can't talk... my jaw is broken

  • Kicking somebody in tha face makes about as much sense as punching him in the foot

  • @leeperry i presume you never received a good high kick...

  • @leeperry Say that to Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Karate.

  • You guys just don't understand the purpose of the video. It's just to show the kinda stuff you can do at this school. Most of the footage is of foreigners, and you don't have to be pro to go there and train, that's why some of them don't look really good. Also, the instructors we see are really young and are students themselves, but they are capable of showing stuff to beginners.

  • @TheBoubi09 The master of this school is insanely good, and the reason why there is kungfu from other parts of China in his school is because he trained in several styles before going to Wudang and commiting to its ways.

  • @TheBoubi09 That said, Wudang is indeed turning into what Shaolin has become, but there still are some good schools.

  • Well even priests have to make money, right? :)

  • LOL at the video AND the comments

  • whats he name of this song

  • @swarrior80 a man of great determination, it sounds like a different version the original was by george lam i think

  • China has become a parody of its former self. This government is raping the country of what little tradition it has left. I hope that The economy collapses and real revolution can happen. Thank god that Kung Fu and Wudang Quan have been able to go abroad and take root in other places in the world.

  • lol, nah, not gonna happen. Violent revolutions has happened way to much in the last 200 years. Wudang is a holy place for Daoism, Daoism is much deeper rooted in the average chinese mind than any thing else, be it Confusianism, Buddhism. Daoism will have a major comeback in this coming decade.

  • Wudang is another famous place in China which is full of charlatans. What you don't know is that the government rents out sections of the mountain for people to do business. Don't believe me? Go there and find out for yourself. And the Baji isn't even good. Come on, guys. 7000 RMB/ per month is quite a bit to pay for "mama huhu" contemporary wushu. There are better teachers than this guy in Wudang - with real Fa Jing and Root.

  • Thank god at least you realize it.

  • I kind of like both wudang and shaolin style but I would have to say shaolin is more flexible and has better agility at weapons but both styles are exceptional :P

  • exellente

  • poor misguided gringos...

  • how exactly are they misguided?

  • yeah, like the color of people skin has anything to do with anything at all.... NOT

  • @Irond3vil2 lol, sure it doesn't. LOL

  • @leeperry just awkward with whatever they copy

  • not really wudang martial arts, at least not that i have seen. 3:28 is bajiquan kung fu. Definitely not wudang martial arts.

  • LOL...they judge this as a poor comment...this IS bajiquan, heidegger71 is right...m.heidegger, too btw.

I'm very very sceptical about what is happening in Wudang these days, seems like latest shaolin history will be repeated in Wudang know, but anyway, who knows?

  • yeah, Wudang is an exact replica of Shaolin, with a booming tourist industry, and getting worse. The people here are so good at bs-ing you out of your money. Yeah it is funny that the obvious truth gets a round of negative comments. Baji is not even from Wudang, its from Cangzhou in Hebei, not even the same region of the country.

  • have you totally missed the fact that those people in the vid are at wudang temple??

  • The people selling their "art" are counting on people to say, "Oh Wudang Temple, it must be authentic then." Let us see if this comment gets deleted as well. Again, Baji does NOT come from Wudang, which is my original point. It comes from Cangzhou in Hebei. Nowhere close.

  • did I talk about art? noooo ^^

  • Comment removed

  • I know this is a five month old reply, and I completely understand your logic. But with the same logic, one could say.... 'Kung fu comes from China, not the USA, Australia, etc... they're not even on the same side of the planet.' This then insinuates that kung fu in these places aren't as authentic than in China. Needless-to-say, people find their own journey that suites their life's path; and I'd assume if you're traveling to wudang shan, your not only going for kf but the experience of Daoism
