This has been flagged as spam show
after reading dozens of comments posted on various videos on this song, it really seems that this is a cocaine-related song, Gaudio used a promo-cover story about losing virginity which was more acceptable than doing coke; also the way the song is presented in other vid's, it does not seem like a "romance" event.

Gerry Polci (drummer/lead singer) teaches high school in NJ. He is also a member of The Hitmen. There is a much better version of this video, more footage of Gerry & clearer pic + sound - posted by ohnoitsnathan15 (hope I remembered that right). Yeh I'm "goggling" Gerry about 30 times now - he is so darling, gorgeous. o: D

He got credit when it came out. They did a concert at the little university I went to in 1966. I got to sit on the 4th row Tickets were $ 7.50 each. The girl I asked, couldn't go at the last minute,and a friend fixed me up with his date's sister, the best looking lady I ever went out with.The kind of girl, that all of the guys in the auditorium, stopped,looked at, and marveled.Then asked each other how a jerk like me ended up with a beautiful gal like that. Oh what a night !

@bearnurse1 My exact thoughts!! My 1st boyfriend,who I married, used to skate to this, everytime the rink was opened, it seemed. Great times and a great song. The drummer/singer, just does something to me,Still...lol.
