By the wqy I agree about the lovely speaking voice but I so hope she will always be remembered for her oh so lovely singing voice - also very clear and understandable plus really telling a store with feeling.

What I admire about her, and for other great actors and actresses as well, is her advocacy for education. Being an educator, I am very much advocating that even the poorest of the poor must have at least a proper education, to withstand the hardships of life. And what I think Julie is doing is simply marvelous. I wish all of you fans out there, including myself, would spread the word and make education a stepping stone to everyone around the world!

She will be remembered for the clarity of her speaking voice. If you haven't heard her reading from books, get one and enjoy the speaking voice. I have always thought she should read Christina Rosetti, actually, any great poetry. Imagine it.

Julie Andrews has been a big influence in my musical career and this night was a dream come true. I only found it fair that I share this once in a lifetime opportunity with everyone who would never get the chance to hear her wisdom in person!
