Queensryche played this as last song on the Promised Land tour in 95. It was amazing and a perfect end to the concert. Ive seen them a couple of times after that over the years but they never came close to that tour and they never will. It was perfect.

I hope more people get to experience this...as others have said...hauntingly beautiful song. I fell in love with it after the first few notes when I first bought the cd. I'm glad someone finally posted it. It's stuff like this that too often goes unnoticed and unappreciated. The simplicity is what makes it so memorable. Of course, Geoff's voice doesn't hurt! :)

Have you ever noticed that sometimes when you first here a song it does not get your attention or mean anything to you, and it takes awile before you really like it?..well from the first time I heard this years ago I almost went into a trance and felt the emotion welling tears up into my eyes before the song was even finished.when Geoff says..and from somewhere deep in my mind, sirens sing outloud songs of doubt as only they know how. I knew then my sirens was my own voice.
