The trailer is to promote the new series and get people pumped, not for everyone to go judging on who does or doesn't look the way they imagined the characters.

Not enjoying these video teasers! The teasers for Last Sacrifice were way better, they left you thinking about the book instead of who the hell picked these people and voiceovers! I like him, everyone has to remember that everyone will have a different picture of the characters in their head. No one actor/actress is going to suit everyone, i think they've done a great job;) And i hope this guy gets through to be Dimitri. <3
...I'm just overall confused by these teaser trailers. How do they count as teasers for "Bloodlines" when they're using quotes from VA and focusing on characters that are not going to be the main characters of the new series? I just don't understand the point of these at all.
I strongly dislike the teaser trailer Rose's voice. But I liked this Dimitri's accent. I never really pictured him with an accent bc I have never heard a russian accent before but his was gewd.
You guys are doing a great job, don't listen to them. I can honestly say that this guy really could play Dimitri. The only changes I would make is to cut his hair shorter; long enough to be tied back, but short enough to fall loose if he tipped his head forward. It really doesn't matter though, it's just a suggestion.
Both of the actors chosen for Rose and Adrian were spot on; though the Rose actor still needs to work on making her lines sound more natural.

@lovej1130 Excuse me? I just don't think it's fair for everyone to be saying such things about the actors when they put so much work into making this for US, the fans. Give them a break and don't expect them to be flawlessly perfect, since everyone imagines things differently it's impossible to get it right for everyone's viewpoint.
The trailer is to promote the new series and get people pumped, not for everyone to go judging on who does or doesn't look the way they imagined the characters.

@lovej1130 Yeah and /I'm/ saying, keep it to yourself. You call yourself a true supporter of VA, when all you care about is the actors appearance? Like I said, nobody is perfect, and in this case, they are doing the best that they can for us. If you don't like it, then fine, don't watch the trailers. It's your loss.
What annoys me is how nobody seems to be focusing on what the trailer is about...everyone is just bitching about the actors. I don't think Richelle would be very proud.

The voice is perfect.!!! (in my opinion). And I love that he has the long hair.! I dnt think he's all that sexy lyk what I pictured. Butt itt was pretty good for a teaser.

Not enjoying these video teasers! The teasers for Last Sacrifice were way better, they left you thinking about the book instead of who the hell picked these people and voiceovers! I get you have to try something new but nextime stick to the old style. With all that said I still cant wait for this book!!!!

Wrong decision, big time. A lot of fans are going to be disappointed. Dimitri is supposed to be sexy, god like, and have a composure like no other. I just don't see it. And rose? Wtf is all that can be said for that mistake.
In no way am i trying to insult these actors, just not right at all for the role they are taking on.

I dont think its bad at all, just different that what I would have expected. He has the look down fine, the voice kinda threw me off. Overall, this makes me want to re-read every VA book I own XD

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS, TO THE PEOPLE MARKETING THIS SERIES!!!!! For the next book ***for the love of God*** go back to the VA type trailers. They had hints and cryptic clues that drove me INSANE!! I loved them!! Go back to that. The Last Sacrifice Dimitri trailer that Penguinaustralia did was brilliant. You can't put a link in the comments, but search for "VA Last Sacrifice Dimitri Belikov Trailer". THAT's what I'm talkin about. Fantastic...it still haunts me. Cheaper AND more effective.

I like him, everyone has to remember that everyone will have a different picture of the characters in their head. No one actor/actress is going to suit everyone, i think they've done a great job;) And i hope this guy gets through to be Dimitri. <3

...I'm just overall confused by these teaser trailers. How do they count as teasers for "Bloodlines" when they're using quotes from VA and focusing on characters that are not going to be the main characters of the new series? I just don't understand the point of these at all.

I strongly dislike the teaser trailer Rose's voice. But I liked this Dimitri's accent. I never really pictured him with an accent bc I have never heard a russian accent before but his was gewd.

You guys are doing a great job, don't listen to them. I can honestly say that this guy really could play Dimitri. The only changes I would make is to cut his hair shorter; long enough to be tied back, but short enough to fall loose if he tipped his head forward. It really doesn't matter though, it's just a suggestion.
Both of the actors chosen for Rose and Adrian were spot on; though the Rose actor still needs to work on making her lines sound more natural.
Apart from that, well done and thanks

I have to say Adrian looks the more sincere acting wise. And I agree, you guys are being way too harsh. They are actors and nobody is saying that this IS ROSE or any other character how you imagined them. Nobody will be straight out of your head. They are real life people, deal with it.

I love VA but the fan base is an embarassment to be associated with (with some exceptions). People wonder why there's no movie. Maybe studios dont want to pick up a series thats scrutinised by a bunch of whiny hormonal girls that always find some miniscule detail to complain about. Seriously, at least this guy gave VA the time of day and did his best to portray Dimitri. There's a reason you don't see Ben Barnes in this trailer and that's simply because he does not give a shit!! Oh my God, I'm so sick of these comments! Would you just think, for a second, that this guy reads your comments? How would you feel if you were him? And stop saying that if YOU were doing this, you would've chosen a "perfect Dimitri"! There's no such thing! All of us have different image in our heads, so nobody EVER could choose the Dimitri we all like. Get over it! At least they make these teasers, and we should be grateful! If you don't like the actors, just don't watch the teasers!
