Not only would it be a fun little toy, but it would be rather useful for trips two and from bus stops etc, and could be stored in a locker at work or school!

if u will get rid of the drill head gearbox and put another gearbox in there it will go faster because now the gearbox is slipping

1.) Shorten the power supply wires ...

2.) Put the throttle valve instead of a variable resistor ...

3.) Powered control scheme of the total power (through the regulator) ...

I think you shouldn't roll up the power cables that goes to the esc, cause this create a magnetic field at high current, raising the cable resistance.

Brake is from the motor,if you activate from controller.is regenerative.

No brushless ESC made for R/C uses regenerative braking. Degenerative maybe, as in throws motor power away as waste heat.

Careful your outrunner motor doesn't suck dirt and wreck a bearing. You should cover it to make sure. I ran my outrunner powered heli without its canopy and ruined a bearing.
