@chaoticsuperguy Well if you are watching this video you are obviously interested in a iMac so i would of though tyou would already know this but when you buy any apple computer or electrical product for that matter there is a configure page when you add things like an SSD you are basically customizing the Mac to your specification so it is basically being custom made because they have to make those changes for you specifically which is why the shipping date gets longer as you add more stuff.

I'm a PC going to mac. I can't decide between 27" iMac and 15" Macbook Pro. I kind of need this for school. Its Power vs. Portability. The 27" screen is very tempting since I'm currently using a 20" monitor. But the fact that I could carry around a computer that is as powerful as the one I'm currently using is also tempting. I'll be using the mac mostly for video editing and homework. I won't be doing any editing that will use A LOT of power. I would also like to use the mac for entertainment.

@alexxjones1 I would imagine it won't be for a while. The design is already pretty much perfect and the specs are bang up to date. The only possible upgrade on the horizon is to core i9, but I suspect they may keep that as a MacPro exclusive for now as it is a feature aimed more so at the pro market due to the extra processing power only being fully utilized by high end rendering and number crunching applications.

I'm looking at buying one soon myself so this is just from personal research.
