I know! I had nearly during my whole life bunnies! Much more then cats are they members of the family and they comfort you if you have concerns. And they are perfect telepathes. Mine went to hide themselves 20 min. before my friend came home, if he was drunken and every times they knew when the main door get moved, whether it was a visitor for us or for other tenants. And I had one who looked in the mirror to brush his coat, especially the ears. Also he must know, who this is in the mirror.

Oh my goodness, do they really hop up in the air like that when they play and run around? Too funny.. they are so cute. I had a neighbor once who had one like Abby and I watched it one time for them when they went on vacation.  They had toys and everything for it.. At the time I thought it was kind of a weird pet, but they seem popular! LOL

They do! It's the most joyful thing to watch! Then they zip around and then suddenly flop on their side and take a rest. It only happens a couple times a day. They usually sleep during the daytime but get frisky in the evening. Then I put Abby to bed at 10:00. She's got wooden toys to play with, cardboard boxes are tons of fun, willow balls are a real treat too. I buy 1/2 a bale of fresh Timothy hay at a nearby farm, fresh vegies and pellets and they are good to go!

It was extremely difficult and I just couldn't tell anyone for a very long time. I felt so guilty. But Roxie was literally digging up the carpet and I rent this apartment. I tried several techniques that other bunny owners had but she's just a digger. And she and Riley had bonded so you can't separate them so they both had to go. A very nice lady who is rabbit savvy has them. They have their own room that has linoleum so no digging carpet. I was so lonely - hence ABBY!

This was such a fun video! I love the way they jump around like that. We had a cat and bunny at the same time a few years back and the cat chased the bunny, then they would turn around and the bunny would chase the cat! Do you trim Abby's teeth and nails yourself? The vet had to do the teeth, but I could do the nails.

I've heard that cats and buns can bond well. Abby is not yet 6 months so I don't have to worry about her teeth. She'll be spayed in another month and the vet will check her teeth then. I do her nails though and she sits like a good girl.

You're an angel for fostering them while they wait for an equally (hopefully) loving home. I don't know how you do it - my heart would break each time one had to leave. I wasn't as attached to Riley because he didn't like anyone near him but I loved Roxie!!! It broke my heart to let them go but they are together and they have a wonderful new mom who is home all day, they have an entire room to themselves that is completely bunny proof. I'm actually hoping to someday have a house of my own where I can turn one room into a place to foster buns till I can find their furever home. :-)

I'm glad they got to go together! I always tell myself that when I win the lottery one day, I'll buy a HUGE house and make one large room all for rescue birds. It's so disgusting what people do to and don't do for those intelligent beings, it breaks my heart. The sad thing about birds is, when they're neglected, they mutilate themselves - sooooooo heartbreaking!

Oh how cute!!! I used to have a house rabbit like Abby, a mini lop, she was gray & white and lived to be almost 9 years old. This video made me miss my Harriet! I used to love when she would get that sudden burst of enery and leap real high and then take off hopping! Did you know that plain yogurt is good for a bunnies digestive system? My vet told me that. I totally enjoyed this video!
