Show jumping and horse racing are different HOWEVER, show jumping is a timed event. You are still "racing" against the clock, trying to have a fault-free round. The person with the best time within the time allowed with the least number of faults will win - or a jumpoff will happen.
Half of the reason why she fell is because of the combination and not having time to set up for the third jump. The other half is because she took her leg off.
Gee don't we feel so sorry for her. Here's a tip, stop forcing animals to jump over hurdles. It is not a natural event in nature and if you are stupid enough to force a horse to jump over hurdles, then be prepared to break neck or worse die, don't complain when it happens. Thats Tina Lund a very famous danish showjumper. She is definitely not a bad rides this happenes because she got out of balance in the very beginning of the combination and with the jumps being so close there is no time for her to gain balance again.

She's not a bad rider at all- this looks like a good 1.40m class, she had a good stride going into the combination, on the second part of it the horse paddled the pole, she let the reins slip and the horse jumped the 3rd part- unfortunately he jumped her out the saddle!

You do realize that to even survive at this level, you need to have a superior amount of strength and balance that most do not - as well as reflexes, muscle memory, and bodily control that simply do not come without years and years of experience.
Sure, a rider can get away with a lack of skills and a talented horse at the 3'6, but even at that level if you don't have the skills, you won't do well.

Once she had a bad accident when she was warming up (or what you call it) but she finished the competicion (spell?) when she was done she had many pains and was taken to the hospital. it turned out that she had a broken ribb.

je pense que le cheval s'est mal réceptionner au 1 er obstacle et au 2 ème il a fait tomber la barrière avec ses postérieur qui a du déséquilibrer aussi la cavalière et elle s'est réceptionner encore moins bien o 2 ème ce qui fait que les 2 on totalement été déséquilibrés.

She's not a bad rider at all- this looks like a good 1.40m class, she had a good stride going into the combination, on the second part of it the horse paddled the pole, she let the reins slip and the horse jumped the 3rd part- unfortunately he jumped her out the saddle!

This was a sad situation but if people means that this rider has ZERO talent they surely don´t know what they talking about. Everybody can come wrong especially on this level. You can´t get up to the world top if you haven´t no talent but of course many talent riders don´t get the chance because no money = not the best horses.

you are looking at the future = riders with zero talent who can buy extremely talented horses .... I see it all the time already in dressage and hunter .... people will be injured because they do not have a clue , they do not know how to ride , their trainers is at fault but these trainers , horse breeders love that money ... and they will seel the best horses to any looser with the cash .... very sad for horses who are cruelly ridden

atleast someone else see's it in the horse world.Too many people and kids with money who buy horses and fuck them up.very sad I knew a lady who did that bought a horse for $10,000 and a month later that horse was worth $1,000.then she'd sell it and buy another one.finally we convinced her riding wasn't her thing and just looking after a horse was.

You do realize that to even survive at this level, you need to have a superior amount of strength and balance that most do not - as well as reflexes, muscle memory, and bodily control that simply do not come without years and years of experience.
Sure, a rider can get away with a lack of skills and a talented horse at the 3'6, but even at that level if you don't have the skills, you won't do well.

Once she had a bad accident when she was warming up (or what you call it) but she finished the competicion (spell?) when she was done she had many pains and was taken to the hospital. it turned out that she had a broken ribb.
So she is a though girl!
