Ok, SO I thought of something. You haters didn't want Wright in this game because he doesn't fight, right? SO if professor Layton was owned by Capcom, he would be OK? Since, you know, he fights in the games and in the movie.

The idea of him not fighting isn't a good reason. He's owned by Capcom, this game is Marvel Vs "CAPCOM", so by default, he automatically belongs in the game. MvC, from what I understand, is so great because of it being different in some way. PW is one of those ways.

If you looked at his level 3 super... Doctor Doom was dead before the move even started the finish animation >o> There are gameplay videos of phoenix wright and just about every other character probably floating around after the whole he and nova were playable and the new york comiccon which was livestreamed by capcomunity. that's right. it's a nod to an xmen storyline "days of future past" in which mutants are exterminated or captured in an alternate future. the poster in the background appears as in the cover. wolverine is one of the remaining mutants, and in this stage megaman takes wolverine's spot in the poster. if this means megaman is still to appear somewhere, i'm really excited.
