Hey, I'm portuguese. =) Not that amazing, I always give a chance to all musical types, listening to a wide range of different styles to choose the best ones, and that's why I like Arzu, amazing singer, though I don't understand what she says, music is a universal language, in my point of view. ;)

That's what music should also be, I guess: some sort of universal consciousness, ready to show people that DIVERSITY shall be accepted, no one can ever be discriminated for its musical preferences, as well as its skin colour, religion, etc.

I'm sure you would like some portuguese songs too, just listen to Madredeus, Sétima Legião or Xutos & Pontapés, for example, if you have the chance to.

Hey, Portuguese friend, Arzu is actually a Kurdish singer and as with all Kurdish singers in Turkey faces big problems for expressing her Kurdish roots. Turkey appears to be improving recently - slowly- but it has a TERRIBLE record fro diversity.
