lil' question: do ya play the main riff (e.g. intro) palm mtes with alternate or down-strokes? i can't see it clearly. and i mess everything up with alternate :D. and i really have to speed up my downstrokes if this is down-stroke-playing :D

@UnnamedThe Typically, no. If you cannot downstroke that speed, than you can try to alternate-pick. But it's kind of hard to alternate pick even groups of notes than hit an open note on a different string.

Sounds great, a little off on some of the notes, but otherwise sounded near perfect. And no not that technical of a song in terms of many other metal songs, but this song has a great tone, it doesn't need to be extremely technical to sound great.
