speaking from a veternarian point of view, any animal that has a mouth will use it as a weapon if need be. the pitt bull was bred to guard, however very good therapy programs are used with grown pittbulls for the terminally ill and for the disabled because when treated with love and compassion instead of being chained to a tree and left alone, they bloom into very loving animals. also, it's "Their" not "There."
