Dante in DT + Trickster = can do 2 Air Hike and 2 Star Sky all in one "jump". That can help. :) (or just use Pandora's pod and fly there, though I'm not sure if you need to gain altitude...)

Thanks for the direction, though I used dante instead.

can just use dante in mission 17 - go back all the way to where you can kill off few fire wolves. use pandora to kill them only - that should raise your disaster bar to a sufficient lv. then go to the 2nd mining area. do a double jump on the platform where Nero's doing a dash thing in the vid, then change pandora to the god pod (GS style). fly towards the direction as indicated in the vid. :D

Actually, you don't even have to do that! Use Dante on 17, like he said, and then use the aim in the direction of the fragment on the second jump, then use pandora to get it. Even on no disaster gauge, it is still enough.

If he's referring to the move that makes Nero soar past the Grim Grip, it's actually Streak done on the ground.

If you Streak over a ledge you can fall from, Nero will instead perform a long jump. Then you perform Roulette Spin after the camera angle change, and Air Hike in the same direction you long jumped and you'll hit that platform. Or just wait until you can get to it with Dante.

it's easy if you use speed and in mid air just perform a combo and after use air hike to get to the platform

man i must've tried for hours doing what the video shows.. i wouldn't even get close to the ledge.. i would stand at the same exact spot he's standing.. then i'd launch myself just like he did but i don't shoot across far like he does.. i don't know if there's something i'm missing or i'm not holding a button long enough or what.. plus the guy in the video is doing the roulette facing backwards yet he still goes where he's supposed to go. i'm facing forward and falling straight down lol.. *sigh*

easiest way is to have ur purple bar filled for pandora and just fly over there in the machine form. this also works well for a few secret missions.

When I had Dante there were two platforms I used to get over there...easy peasy.  Nice job getting over there with Nero, I would've just fucked it up.

Props for doing it with Nero, I couldn't haha. Instead I used dante, a quick stinger + double jump + sky star did it for me.

the easiest way to get the orb across the way near the railway track is to get it when you are dante because you can jump off the red circular things that bounce you in the air and u can jump up to the ledge on them!

ok i failed several times with this particular part, and i never actually knew 'where' that broken railway to the blue orb was. what you do is proceed to the next room on top and then turn the camera so you can see to the other side of the cave, now you should be able to see where that rail is and you should be able to pull it off easier. one tip, don't use roullette spin too early...

It's possible to grab the blue orb by using only streak level 1. However, it's very tough compared to the method sephirosuy demonstrates.

Stand in front of the exit like the beginning video. However, this time you want to lock on the the grim grip just below the one in front of you. Position yourself to the bottom left corner (you might have to play around with this).

Now charge your exceed gauge to level 1. Streak across and be sure to let go of the lock on as you long jump.

If you done this correctly, you should be able to hit the bottom of the broken railway (00:05 in the video).

Now immediately wall jump towards the entrance and use a few air slashes to give yourself some more hang time.

With luck you'll be able to land on the platform by using just an exceed streak.

It's actually not too hard to do. There is a fair bit of leeway on everything except the air hike.

All you have to do is lock on to the Grim Grip shown in the video, then stand on the platform inbetween the two rails. Then do a Streak towards the grip. After you start to lose height, do a Roulette Spin. As soon as you finish spinning, air hike off to the right and you should land on or close to the platform.

It takes a few tries but it is not very hard once you know how.
