it's interesting how Kushner connects different characters throughout the film. like at 7:09, Emma Thompson puts her head up to the light and it looks like she has a halo. Later Thompson plays the Angel Messenger. Thus Kushner connects Prior's nurse to the Angel

Thomas Newman is so damn good. His sound is so distinct - the orchestra music playing in the first minute or so of this scene sounds a lot like his soundtrack for the Shawshank Redemption.

Also. I could not believe this when I saw it. They show Justin Kirk's (Prior) penis on television. 6:54 and on. I could not believe it. No one ever shows the male anatomy on television or movies (not counting pornography). The closest thing I've ever seen like that in a movie was in "Something Like Mary". So this, this is just wow.
