@hzsurfer of course a game is not going to feel like the real thing! NONE of the real world forces are in play when playing a game....BUT it does have a level of challenge and it is very helpful in reactions/timing and developing a mindset for speed. I ride street luge and it is very helpful to me in this way. I AM faster more relaxed and attentive due to this game. It is funny to me that you think that we think a game and game controller are like a real bike. We are not that stupid, I hope.

In the career mode can you choose what engine you have (Whether it's a Honda or Yamaha or Suzuki for example)? I was expecting a lot more from this game, doesn't look very promising.

your forgetting one thing greg bryant, all us poor bastards that used to race in simulation mode on 08. sim mode is non existant on this game. youve got five modes ranging from easy to insain and theres no differance between any of them. the bike handles the same in all modes all youve done here is made a game of poo. seriously im gonna use the instructions to wipe my ass with and the disk as a frizbie. you guys should give the contract back to MILESTONE and greg should risign u robbing F#%

But bikes like these can't do that and it just looks stupid when they're ramming into each other with no consequence. I mean look at 1:53 and how ridiculous that looks! The guy riding in the video is terrible by the way, dont judge the game by this preview. if you ignore the racing line given, brake much later, tip the bike into the corners a bit later and keep a higher corner speed you get a much more authentic experience, in fact through the first 10 corners you'll hardly need any brake at all.

I hate the annoying dude at the menu who yells everything you select. Awful demo, the full game might be better only because there is depth and might suck you in... Keyword MIGHT... . The whole dynamics was completely off... for example there is no counter-steering the motorcycles. When you turn left, you are suppose to turn the handle bars to the right, this makes the bike lean. I was very let down by even the most basic concepts of motorcycle racing. These guys have a long way to go.

Apart from there being no resistance in the steering at low levels I found the 125cc experience to be quite accurate, give it a chance.

I played the demo and I just have to say, if you want a kiddy arcadey style racing game, then this game is for you. If you like real road racing sim games, stick with the SBK franchise, they are only ones who come remotely close to a road racing sim. IMO

Motogp 06 used a one button break system for casuals & also had the 2 button break system for harcore racers but with the newer iterations they took out the one button break & this was my problem with the game. I hope they put the 1 button break back in cause i don't know exaclty how much break i should be using in the front & rear.
