try aikido and jiujitsu , it will be more like it :) , if you add them it makes aikido jiujitsu. keep trying till you find what you realy like, cos aikido and all that kokyo nage, you still can do it when you get older , like 70 years or something. good luck
Aiki-jutsu is an awesome martial art! I would love to study this along with my Aikido. The two would mesh perfectly beyong any other two arts ive ever seen. This probably has to do with the fact that Diato Ryu Aikijujutsu was one the father arts that Aikido comes out of. Learning Aikijutsu would give the Aikido practioner a whole bunch of more options for attacks and the use of atemi during techniques.
If you that you 'll get conflicts, with your aikido friends! i tell you why .cos they are arrogant and they cant even do a descent technic, in aikijutsu you go to basic , not such pacifisme bull ! try it any way get nothing to lose. peace
I agree, some members of my Dojo can be arrogant at times. My Sensei holds a 1st Dan in Diato Ryu so from time to time he will teach us a technique or two that is definitly an extreme countermeasure which would probably kill someone in a real fight haha. I would like to study the art of Aikijujutsu like he did. He doesnt discourage it because much of the origins of Aikido are in that art. Currently I do Aikido and Karate.
