i agree with the criticism of the church. having been raised catholic my heart is saddened by what happened. however, that does not alter the controversey surrounding amma. this is not a smear campaign by the church. this was in the Indian press. if you look for the articles you will find them. you sound like the church when it tried to cover up abuse cases. as i said, many gurus i have come to admire and respect especially anandamayi mai, and others.

Fair point inwonder, however Amma is an example of meditation in action. Meditation is the tool which will allow people to see the problem and solution within themselves. Amma plays softball or mega-hardball depending on where you are. For some people just seeing Amma in action allows them to see what is possible.
