Hi guys, yes he was one of the most important stuntman in history, and is also my great uncle. The cunnutts are on my mom side of the familly. I visited him in 1979 and even had a opprotunity to hold his oscar. Definatly a one in a million person to be working in the stunt industry at the right time and right place.

@Jolly674723 Just watched the John Wayne movie..The Telegraph Trail.. In it your great uncle played an Indian Chief. Man he was the best. What a privilage to be related to such a great man.

I bought his book Stunt Man, what a great read.  I love the old westerns he did with John Wayne. This fellow could do amazing stunts. Thanks for the tribute, he deserves it!
