i definitely wish the showdown had stayed with this style. they were the absolute best at this style. with the "back breaker" sound they just fall in the middle of the solid state back and sound like everyone else, but they really shined with the "temptation" sound.

I'm glad to see they are still playing this song because I'm gonna see them do a headlining show on august 3rd. GIT SNAKE BIT!!!

I know what you're saying but at the same time I'm glad they got heavier. Most bands get lighter and lighter so for The Showdown to be heavy, then lighter, then even heavier is a good sign in my opinion. But Temptation is one of my favorite songs. I'm kinda hoping with their next record that they stay as heavy as Back Breaker but get more southern like Temptation Come My Way (the album) was. That would be insane!!!

Well I was talking to the lead singer the other night at the concert and he was sayin that he thinks this next album will be about the same heaviness but there will be more singing like temptation, which is awesome. But he said they havent even really begun the recording process. ALSO the 2nd guitarist from demon hunter is STAYING and will be permanent!!!

Sounds badass dude!!! I'm glad to see that the 2nd guitarist is staying. If they can pull off being as heavy as Back Breaker but with more singing like Temptation the album should be freakin' awesome! I saw an interview on youtube with David and Yogi and Yogi said that the new stuff is groovier. But, like you said that haven't really begun recordings or anything so who knows. Thanks for letting me know man!!!
