Caro Marcos. Sim, Carmen aparece com o coreógrafo e o Bando da Lua (irreconhecíveis) no número. Já tentei mas não foi possível postá-lo devido à restrições por parte dos proprietários das imagens. Mesmo não havendo qualquer interesse comercial, apenas culturais, educacionais e em homenagem à artista, Se percebem a infração, não costumam dar moleza. Carmen was Portuguese, she lived in Brazil since she was a little girl so she felt like she belonged but she was born in Porto in Portugal and her parents were Portuguese.
She played so well with the anglos ignorance of the southamerican cultural diversity... and made an icon of herself. Still to this day she remains unrivaled... she also toyes around the with the similarity between portuguese and spanish... SHE WAS SIMPLY AWESOME!

Try to watch "That Night in Rio" one of Miranda's best films. Keep an eye for "Ca-room pa pa", a musical number from "Nancy Goes to Rio". It's a wonderful MGM staged musical number. I think Carmen Miranda could have presented Brazilian culture as it really is, instead of strengthening the notion in the US that from Mexico downwards everything is the same.Brazil has more to offer than "coconuts and bananas", "¡Ay, ay, ay!" & Cuban dance. "I was just looking," he says, giving her the eyebrow wiggle. Which she gives back to him as he leaves.
As Carmen was meant to be seen... In Color. I'm one of those individuals that appreciates the colorizing of the movie classics or any other black/white media. I believe that it is an art-form that has been unjustly met with disdain, but fortunately not abandoned. I have this version on dvd and I alwyas perfer more to the blk/wht because color adds another dimension to the flick. Thanks for clip

Copacabana came in a pack of old movies my father ordered years ago and this was by far my favorite one. Carmen's stage presence is amazing.^^
