@DUCER4 ya basically any airsoft ELECTRIC gun can survive being submerged but theres some risks like rusting and long term damage. i talked to the tech at shortyusa
someone answer me this how the fuck does the electrics servive that :S wouldnt the current arc? i know its not in that long so maybe the water did not make it right to the switch assembly, but theres been other videos where AEGs have been completely submerged for quite a while then come out right as rain :S
this gun is very interesting. it was great when i was out playing in the heavy rain doing tactical scenerios, also went in water with it. great gun! im all the way VFC 416!
The gun kept the water out of the vital areas. Most AEG's would short-circuit inside of the handgrip where the ELECTRIC motor is. Also, it is vital that the selector switch inside of the gearbox stayed dry as well. This is quite an amazing feat by VFC if you ask me. They make the best stock AEG's.
If you think you can do that with your CA, then I think you SHOULD cuz your a complete dumbass.
well not really watch the VFC SCAR water test and water did go into the gearbox and the motor and it stil fired, which is cool now i think i can start acting like the seals with airsoft but i wouldn't that chance
Well yes. any AEG can survive being dumped into a bucket of water. i left my Classic Army M15A4 in my hottub (bad idea because of the Clhorine and other chemicals. i wanted to destroy it) with a 9.6 2000 MAH battery in it for around 3 weeks (kinda forgot about it) and pulled it out and it still fired. not as well i would say because the power kinda seeped from the battery as for it was left in water. but it worked.
i have one of these for ask me for price

Although it will work in water, just remember to strip the gun and dry it.

Apparently you can do this to any AEG. I wouldn't try it myself though.
Skornogr4phy 5 years ago
u can drops lots in the water. and shoot them right after. the rust might get you though.
gamefanatic1131 5 years ago
don't shake the water off and try to fire it. . you can't do it like an Escort/Sun Project M16.
heckkoch9 5 years ago
All kinds of AEGs can survive a water shower, as long as you don't leave them in it for a long time.
Oh, and if I were you, I wouldn't try it hehe
