@lucian820 The new XP i know, but I got all my producing software, games, personalizations, etc.. on my vista and I do not have the energy, time and power to transfer any of them to Win7 (though I have Win7) i currently have it installed on a SSD but everything is on my vista and I dont want to upgrade the same Vista File System to Win7 because its to crowded, dirty, messy and I want my Win7 on a SSD which is so much faster on specially in 7

Vista worked very well providing you had the hardware top run it. The biggest problems were Microsofts certified for Vista Vista ready confusion as well as the screw up over the lack of hadware drivers. The latter was not really Microsofts fault.

Serriously, vista 64 bit, happy as hell, and my computer get "stuck" only 2 times for 4 years, and only because i gave him too much polygons in 3d max (does mac have 3D studio?).

Well, this, as well as a lot of these commercials, appears to be more of an argument to use XP not to use Mac. It seems that if you upgraded (hehe, "upgraded") to Vista then you would simply want to go back to XP with the computer that you already have.

@Herebedragons991 No it's alright to play on the Playstation although anyone would say true gamers play a PC which is true. But for my job I have to have a gaming PC, I'm a freelance level designer so I have my work cut out. I think PS 3 is great for playing games quickly with n00bs but for us that have PC we can play with the professional gamers like FATL1TY.

It's true that PC's have more games, but when it comes to things like surfing the net my mac just does better (even though it's not new it was on display in the store). The first day we got our pc it got stuck while I was just using firefox, I don't even wanna describe how bad it is now. And I do the EXACT same things on my pc and mac, yet somehow my mac has zero problems.

Vista, similar to ME was not the real problem, the problem was for the most part hardware, get a good computer that's got decent specs and is proven to work with it and you'll love it, (also vista had just as many if not more new features as leopard), or you could just get 7 which as far as I can tell has only one flaw: It comes with IE as the default browser.

@legomattww I didn't have one the 3 1/2 years I ran Vista. Alot of the problems people had with Vista were due to the fact that they were trying to run it on computers that were heavily outdated.

Heres a sad story actually bill gates is a college drop out. So when he made windows he had tge prts he just didnt know how to put them together. Seriously people, I have nothing against Mac, I have something about people talking about stuff they know nothing about. Did you know that Microsoft allowed many journalist who wrote negatively about Vista try out the absolute beta of their new OS and give their opinion? They said it was much better then Vista... It *was* Vista with a few adaptations and a new skin. Also I happily worked on Vista for a long time, I also worked on Windows 7 RC and now have the official W7 (64-bits). It works.

The way i see it Microsoft are going down the same route as Sega about 15 years ago.

Sonic 3 wasn't finished, so Sega released the 'second part', Sonic and Knuckles, a few months later.

Vista wasn't finished, so Microsoft released the 'second part', Windows 7, a few years later.
