3. Why did Renbe end up in a hotel at the end, but not Kat? Also how does putting Renbe with Joe benefit anything, as he knows too much! He also would have known Victoria, the new night manager (clearly not dead either).

3. The 'System' just sees them as experimental pieces. They just want to see what happens if they put them together. Although there is a better chance of them escaping. They probably made new traps.

5. I think so because on the ship he says "Welcome to level 2". I think that they are just using Joe to help them out and since they did not want him with Janet, they sent him to level 1.

@daytimesdramaqueen I dont know if it was officially cancelled. But like you, I feel that they hinted as to there being another season. Here are my thoughts... First off why would they call it a Season Finale and not a Show Finale. They call it a mini series, mini series dont usually have 13 episodes. The part where it says welcome to level 2. Why would they end a show on a big cliffhanger giving more questions then we had prior. Those are my thoughts, and I can hope the show will continue.

Such a shame that this show was cancelled, obviously inspired by the Prisoner, it could have been awesome. Speeding up the narrative to reach some kind of conclusion, has made the show ridiculous and left gaping plot holes. I'm an admirer of McQuarrie's work too.

Basicly the twist ending is that their a bunch of Aliens getting ready to infiltrate humanity. The whole town is a neural net to test their responses and how good their fake memories and artificial psych profiles hold up. Thats why they are from different walks of life as they are infiltrating diffrent parts of society.

It was confirmed last month the NBC has picked up Persons Unknown but the date this series will start is not yet defined...

Whatever the start date is, add 2 months to that, and that will be the date that NBC cancels it. Just like the networks cancel virtually everything that's even a little bit different.

There's no point in getting interested in this because it will only last 13 episodes and then end on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved.
