Nobody gets the crowd reactions that he does...maybe Phil. I've witnessed a moment like this in the '05 President's Cup in Virginia. I was in the stands on hole 16 when Tiger made a birdie to win the hole, and the stands were shaking! I've never been a part of anything like that before or since! Even with all the bad decisions he's made in his personal life, you cannot deny that he is the greatest golfer of our generation...if not ever.

One of the things that made this play so clutch was the injury. He had not had proper practice in months- had not played a full round since April and nearly hit the deck from the pain in his knee several times in the middle of this amazing rally. Like it has been said, it has NEVER happened that someone recorded two eagles in 6 holes in a major championship.... let alone someone who almost crawled off the teebox just minutes earlier.
