Man that was bad. My husband works at lourdes and had to go in... we wound up staying there for a couple of days then headed up north to get a motel room to wait it out.
I went through it too. Our power was out for.... i think 2 weeks. And when we had to get gas, every gas station was out except Sam's Club in Paducah. Took forever to get our gas. There was a long long long line.... But I actually had some fun during this. It was a great bonding moment with my family.
we were 22 days no power ,my sons and I -God got us throught it -I called a reporter and told him everywhere around me had power ,but our pole was down-he came out and did a interview with me ,put it on the news and my power was back on the next day...go fig..thanks Noah Bonds
It's so sad b/c we had such a beautiful autumn in 2008 and now all the trees in our county are devastated. It's heartbreaking, but fortunately what I saw around my town, there was only tree damage and not much home or vehicle damage. Hope you are all safe. :)
My heart goes out to you all. I'm in Maryland and have been through a few ice storms but nothing like this. God bless you all. The rest of us are looking on and praying for a speedy recovery from this.

Carlisle County is really in a world of crap. That's a real rural county so I hope the National Guard got in there and helped them

Even with the grey skies and all that ice Paducah looks real nice!

Paducah's a nice town, we're going to have a lot of clean up. The trees has got a natural pruning, and think it will be a beautiful spring.

Yeah, pretty bad here in Paducah and Ballard and all the surrounding areas.
