I did what you called the complicated part about 15 times in a row perfectly with the safe handle. Then I turned it over and tried the real deal with the bite handle, and cut myself first try. haha. Good tutorial though.

well it's an advanced trick where you throw the knife in the air and catch it, immediately doing a twirlmove

it's one of the hardest things I have tried to learn with balisongs, probably because there are only a few video's where it is performed

I think in the last video of larzi therec is a move like that

I reckon you could be able to do such moves as you are very skilled
