  • are you using a hopper-dropper set up?

  • looks like a peacock bass brookie man

  • Hey what weight rod is that?

  • what fly are you using

  • Ah, nothing more relaxing than fishing in small streams. That does look like an excellent river to single hand spey

  • Looked like one hit the indicator and the other your fly.

  • What river is this on in the U.P.? I live in Ashland

  • wat rivers this on?

  • your doing everything real nice..but you can buy yourself 5-6 more seconds od a drag free presentation by snapping the tip of your rod to the right just as the forward most tippet and line have hit the water,.there by mending your line slightly up current from where your bug lands giving it just a few more seconds befor the current starts to drag it.Very nice gorgeous water nice fish .

  • what fly were you using?

  • hey guys one question must u always fly fish in clear water? cozz im thinking of starting

  • @stip27 Yes... yes you should

  • beautiful fish

what did you catch it on?

  • Ah, if there was lovely water and brook trout in everybody's back yard, there would be no need for war.

Or at least I could stop picking up hookers and strangling them.

    Thanks for the vid!

  • uh...ok?

  • I strangle trouts and catch hookers.

  • I choose ultra light fishing with the OG rapala or jointed rapala.brookies love em! but hey if your fishin thats all that matters!

  • you could also try to use a superduper spiner lure for trout i caught 2 in the evening who knows how good it will work in the daytime

  • thats right. If your fishing, thats all that matters !!

  • beautiful fish.. great catch..

steelhead fishing the lake erie tribs is amazing.. i live 10 mins from vermillion river, chappel and beaver creek

30 mins from cold creek sandusky river

    and rocky river and conneut

definately didnt realize how lucky i am when i was young.. ther is some great brown trout and steelhead fishing in the lake erie basin

  • ur setting the hook WAY too hard...

  • Fly fishing=fun, less fish

Spin Fishing with live bait=fun, more fish

I choose spinfishing, with a little indicator and red worm, you can't beat it!

  • not true at all

  • if your not getting more fish on the fly your not doing it right

  • very nice, i caught my first brookie on sunday

  • What a beautiful specimen! i would love to catch a wild brookie like that!

  • Nice stream! I live near a pretty small stream that runs through woods, and it holds some pretty nice brookies too!

  • what is on your line above fly??? another fly?

  • Yes...a #10 stimulator.

  • i love to fly fish

  • Where is this? Looks like the kind of brookie streams we have in the poconos in PA. my favorite kind of fishing.
