  • I can't see the pattern on my phone /:

  • I did this pattern once, and when I repeated it, the knots got really loose and in between them, the string was showing a lot and it was sticking up. please help!!! D:

  • @TheRh3 Sounds like you may need to try pulling upwards a bit more firmly.

  • @BeyondBracelets I tried that, but ut diddn't work. maybe my loom slits were too far apart?

  • @TheRh3 Hm... Maybe. I do mine 1/2 inch apart.

  • i so wish i could knot with my mind :)

  • i did one like this only with 8 strings and it was much easier, and not so thick

  • @javitorresruiz Yeah, less strings is easier. I am a fan of the thin bracelets as well but this was a request.

  • Wowie the video is soooooooo long....

  • @ipark1234 Making the bracelet takes this x's 5 or so. They take quite a while... this is a craft based on patience.

  • LOL @ "it wouldn't be proper..." That was pretty cute. :)

  • yay! i was looking for a tutorial like this :) i saw a bracelet like that on Gillian Zinser and wanted to make one so bad!

  • I got some thread from walmart :( it doesn't work the same..so where can I get the kind of flossy string you're using?

  • @thebestofyouuu Six stranded embroidery floss. Craft store should have it.

  • do the knots with ur mind ill b jello but stiil it would b cool

  • Thanx :) I will go check it out :)

  • love it~~

  • Hey! I have just started all of this craft stuff and I am in LOVE with these bracelets! You videos are the BEST out there :)

I was wondering if it is in anyway possible to make a winnie the pooh pattern ??? I would absolutely love to find out how! If not then I could attempt to make it myself after awhile :)

    Thanx for all your help:)

    Samantha

  • @Musiclover204512 You could check friendship-bracelets(dot)net for regular patterns (or) try out a multi color alpha. The alpha's are the best and most detailed when it comes to characters.

  • Is it ok if you could include small beads in your bracelet?

  • @hahahanis You can add beads if you want. You'll skip the knot where the bead is an continue with the bead taking the place of the knot.

  • Do you have a link to the pattern anywhere? I love this bracelet but I work much better from looking at the patterns.

  • @TheSaleminator Well, I could try to make a pattern for it... but it might not be very soon. Been trying to work on a Christmas theme right now.

I made up a few new patterns for everyone but they need testing and tweaking before I make videos... which is bad because Christmas is coming VERY soon. I'm working on gingerbreads right now... so I'm going to stop typing now. lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets Oh don't worry about it! I thought you already had one, in which case I thought I'd ask for it. It's not important or anything. And good luck on the Christmas themed ones! You can do it!

  • @TheSaleminator Aw, well if I remember to do it after christmas I'll try to post it in the video desc. or you can just ask later on when I'm not rushing.

As for the gingerbreads... they are freakin' adorable. I'm so excited to post it. I'm just about to make the video as soon as my cam charges fully. =3

  • thanks!

  • if yours is a disaster than mine must be the end of the world :/

  • @poblo2006 Haha... I work really messy on the clipboard, that's all. Having the hard back press my hands as I work causes me pull the strings at a weird angle.... so the knots are always spaced/uneven because of it.

  • Nice job

  • my request is to make the ying yang

also if u have a email send it to me then i can send u pictures

    my email is claudiajames19@gmail.com

  • You are absolutely amazing!!!! No Joke!!!

  • Creating a design just from looking a picture, now that is wot I call talent. You have got me hooked on bracelets and ur such a fab teacher. Thanks for sharing.

  • @beadydani You're welcome. =3

  • can you do one with a skull in it

  • @mossbergize1 I'll add it to the list.

  • @mossbergize1 thanks a lot i cant find a tutorial and im bad at reading the pattern lol i need a step by step like your vids your awsome by the way .

  • You're awesome. Thanks for that video. Stay super human.

  • I think this pattern is actually called the Criss Cross. Just thought I'd let you know(:

  • Do you know how to make a llama pattern bracelet?

  • @chaufalina13 The best one I've found is 46 steps. You're better of making an alpha- it'll make it easier on you.

  • @BeyondBracelets oh ok THanx XD

  • It looks like it has fish on it.

  • @lauren88f Yeah, they sort of are really large fish.

  • Made half of it so far

  • Haha ii lovve this vid!

  • how does one request a bracelet? :3

  • @XxlikewoabrexX Go to my channel and click on the banner at the top where it says,"Request Here!" in blue.

  • this bracelet isn't really that advanced, it just has a lot of strings and steps

  • @K8e92 That's why I listed it as advanced.

  • @BeyondBracelets i understand, for some reason, mirror image patterns are so easy for me though.

  • @K8e92 They are on of the easiest, I agree. I love working with mirror image patterns.

  • @BeyondBracelets same here, they are my favorite kind of pattern

  • <3 it!

  • pretyyyyyy! since I like the pattern, I was wondering whether one can make this with less than 16 strings (I usually work with 10-12), not sure about 16...

  • @daisygrl135 #44696 on friendship-bracelets(dot)net

  • I made a pattern a little bit like this

  • Comment removed

  • man this is hard..lol

  • @felixpartz Can be. Try making a cardboard loom (search "cardboard friendship bracelet loom")

  • this is like the MUCH bigger and longer version of a crisscross .

  • hi, i dont know if this question makes sense, but i started this bracelet and i am up to basically the part where the video ends and i know that you said dont worry the strings change position and the diamonds will start to become diff. colors but is there anything that i have to do to change the position of the colors? or will it happen automatically.. im a little confused

  • @lizzerbeth The change will happen automatically.

  • can i do this with half the amount of strings? or somehow so it not so thick

  • @jweezygurl Changing the number of strings changes the pattern entirely. Check friendship-bracelets(dot)net for "ribbon" and maybe you'll find something similar.

  • Awesome

  • omg i love you y haunt i met you b4??!!!!!! i love you beyond brCLETS haha whoops..... i still love u

  • i feel so bad that you have to do that bracelet

  • @beyondbracelets that may have been it! :P

  • This was a really clear and easy to follow tutorial! you're a great teacher :3

  • You totally sound like the youtuber PinkieCharm! It's crazy!

Anywho I followed along with you for this one and I love the design thank you!

  • @Criminal101Minds Just checked her out and it of course had to be her introducing herself with a British accent... once she faded back to American I guess she kind of does... or I kind of do. Deep voiced girls are awesome. =D

  • how can you make sure the strings are not too short???

  • @BlessTheOneWithHeart You can't make sure they aren't too short. It depends on the pattern. Something this big needs more than the average 65" so I said 75" appx.

  • I luv your tutorials!!! It was actually funny I was up at 3:00 making the bracelet and watching your video.

  • I LOVE this bracelet! In making the diamond I saw that step 2 is supposed to be L8 make 7 bk and R8 make 7 fw. You're absolutely inspirational with your work and an angel for sharing it with us!

  • @Queenycorner Ah, thanks for that. Sometimes I goof on typing it out (The sea of "L8 2FK R2 3FK 5BK R4 6FK" can get to me sometimes, lol. I fixed it now. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • i just finished making this bracelt!! love it!! :D thank u so much

  • i learned the chevron on this pattern and foundit difficult on your chevron tutorial .-. lol btw i love your work

  • @frogjoe1235 Michael's Arts & Crafts

This is the white stuff: /watch?v=TiNsulIzDrA

  • they have the same bracelet pattern and everry time i see it its called something different and you can do it with like 5 strings instead of 16. it could have been less work for you :) so what is it really called??

  • @123klynn456 I have no idea. I made this pattern up for someone because neither of us could find a pattern for it... so I'm not really sure of the actual name since I made up the pattern on my own. Sorry. =x

  • good job!

  • Hey I have a request can u plz make a tutorial on the checkered on ?

  • @Janiemariie Those are alphabet patterns. Check my alpha tutorials.

  • @truestorytruestory32 Send a picture to my inbox. I'll see what I can do when I get some time.

  • Just notice that you tied the two blues on the left but not the right

  • @BeyondBracelets On 14:06 you didn't tie the ends on the right side and on 16:30 you tied them off on the left side.

  • @gevisanchez Hah, you're right. Good eye. I was getting annoyed while making it and was trying to rush through. I'm hoping the new tripod will save me from getting so frustrated but right now it's hard to make them with a tripod between my wrists. =x

  • @BeyondBracelets Yeah I saw it. i made the bracelet and everyone like it. but used way too much string. thanks

  • What kind of string is used for this? ive never made braceletes before and i want to try this but it seems like it isnt embroidery floss? (i cant tell again im new at this) if it isnt embroidery floss can you tell me the name of it so i can go buy it?! :D

  • @Catastrophe14 It is embroidery floss. You might want to try on the "beginner" playlist advertised on my Channel. You might get some helpful tips. (Look under "My Online Shop & Tutorials" heading on my Channel)

  • Thanks

  • Oh I'm sorry I didn't finish my question!!! I meant on fb.net. But I see what u thought I meant- sorry about the confusion!

  • @catzeye510 "Your Page" next to "Forum" then just click "Change Profile Picture" and change it.

  • To my account

  • @catzeye510 Go to your youtube page and click your name to get to "My Account" then click "Settings" then "Profile Setup" then just "Change Picture"

  • How can I add a pic

  • Hey beyond bracelets-

  • could you do this with 3 colors?

  • @Brandiva91 I suppose but you'd need to separate them. Ex:

    11 22 33 44 (middle) 44 33 22 11

    1=blue 2=pink 3=brown 4=gold

    11 22 33 22 (middle) 22 33 22 11

    1=blue 2=pink 3=brown

You need to "double" it and replace one of the colors... just don't have it like 22 22 or something like that.

  • So it's basically just the standard diamond pattern, with alternating diamond colors instead of one continuous color for the diamond throughout? I love it! :D xXx

  • You totally figured out that pattern!

  • @catzeye510 Haha... yeah. It wasn't that bad, though. Diamonds are some of the easier ones to figure out. Figuring out the initial set up of the strands was the hardest part- the rest was easy since it was just counting knots.

  • That takes soooooooooo much time for me to make a whole bracelet!

To make a whole bracelet (using that pattern), how much time do you need?

  • @ecopeachpony Quite a bit of time. I worked for about an hour or so and only made half the bracelet... but then again I have to take breaks because my carpal tunnel. =x

It does take time though... it's a bigger pattern.

  • @BeyondBracelets

Hi! you said at the beginning of the video that you like to look at bracelets and figure out the pattern, well I recently bought some patterns of a website and when I try them, I feel like I am doing them wrong. If you want I can send them to you for you to check out. Just let me know if you are interested, the patterns are really cool.

  • @sokkershorty53 Sure, you can send them in. This name @ gmail(dot)com would be fine.

  • its sooooo big......... I LUV IT!

  • Hi I made a bracelet and tied it on and I cut the ends off cuz they were long and it fell off and now the string is too short to tie back onn. What can I do?

  • @jewlziskewlz Try looking at my crimp end tutorial (YT Search "How To Add Crimp Ends & Clasps")... because if it's way too short to tie then there's not much else you can do other than use crimp ends to add clasps.

  • @jewlziskewlz You could, if there's enough of a tail left, knot some fresh strings onto the remains of the tail and either use that as it is, braid the new tail or make a chinese staircase with it. :) As long as you leave enough space to tie a large stopper knot on the end. Unless, did you double the strings up so there's a loop on the end or is there just a knot at the top?

  • I know I already commented before but this last half of the video made me laugh. hahahaha :D I can so knot with my mind! :p

  • This bracelet is pretty sweet looking. I'd go for it but I have to go buy decent looking string. I don't have much left anymore. :( Thanks for your videos! I made two bracelets as a gift to my twin friends! :) I made the the braided stitch bracelet. It's cute!

  • "2. Using L8 make 7fk

    Using R8 make 7bk"

I think you switched fk and bk :D

  • @DeesertDawn I may have... that's why I always advise people to read the instructions below the video and follow those- because looking at a page of L1 4FK R1 5BK L3 2FK R4 8BK can make my head spin sometimes.

Since everything looks the same it's easy to make mistakes... I really need to figure out a way to 'cross off steps' without using a pen since that is time consuming so I'm not really sure what I could do that wouldn't make me spend unnecessary video time crossing things off.

  • do u have a breast cancer awareness design ? if not can u please make one ?

    ty

  • @Msid94 Just look up "beyondbracelets awareness ribbon" in the yt search.

  • one thing to say about this bracelet.....DAMN THATS AMAZING!!!

i going to try to make it

  • WATCH mY VIDEOS .......

    Thejenksgirl33

I make vid tutorials of art stuff

  • Thank you for existing.

  • @lovingit20 Haha. You're welcome. I'll try to keep existing for a little while more. I promise.

  • please do yin yng pattern

  • love love love love LOOOOOVVVVVVVE this..

  • @IzzyCruz100 This is so much that I won't remember... go request them on my Channel video guide.

"Welcome To My Channel! (Request Bracelets Here)"

  • @BeyondBracelets do you use a clipboard?

  • @Lokilani38 Yes.

    watch?v=TiNsulIzDrA

  • @BeyondBracelets do you put something on it?

  • @Lokilani38 Did you watch the link? It's explaining my clip board.

  • @BeyondBracelets yah, I watched it like 30 sec. after I posted it

  • @Lokilani38 Glad you found it. Hopefully it helped.

  • @Lokilani38 It's fine.

  • thanks for the pattern :)

  • @Dimples2425 You're welcome. Sorry it was a bit messed up as a video... Hopefully the written instructions were more helpful lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets hey I'm publishing my vid to YouTube rite now I'll tell ya wen it's done but it's not the best

  • i honestly have absolutely no idea how you can make a pattern from looking at a picture... something i need to learn and how to use FB.nets generators lol. -_-

  • @kiraaxchaos Honestly, making the pattern was the easy part.... Writing everything down and then testing out every step that I wrote to make sure it works is the time consuming/annoying part. I doubt I'll do many big bracelets like this... I was ready to quit half way through I was in so much pain. lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets You are crazy. Oh can you go on aim? i have to ask you some stuff :D

  • u r so clever! i epic fail at reading patterns, let alone making em!

  • wow :) O_o amazing :)

  • 16 strands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:000

  • @TheHKJS Never again... lol.

I had so much trouble filming this because of how close to the camera I work... and wrapping my arms around it to make it really didn't help. My knots kept 'leaning' and my back was feeling like hell from leaning forward/twisting around a tripod like Gumby...

I really need to figure out a different set up for the large bracelets. =|

  • Wow you made that just by looking at the picture?! Your amazing!

  • the amount of work you put into making your tutorials is quite impressive!

  • @erinbrookemcdonald The pattern wasn't so much an issue- making up the written pattern was. I always try to simplify it as much as possible. Unfortunately since this isn't a repeating pattern I couldn't use FB.net's generator. (I mean... it DOES repeat eventually but it's so far down the pattern half the bracelet would have to be made from a pattern.)

I'm glad you guys are appreciative- It's not always easy and it's nice to know that [almost] everyone appreciates it.

  • You nailed the pattern; this is a beautiful bracelet that I will be giving a shot! Here's to a novice trying something new! :)

  • @Monchichito I'm glad you like it. It was a little challenging to figure out an easy way to explain it but I think I did okay between the video and the description.

  • I could have easily read the pattern and went from there but your commentary at the end made this video very lolworthy and fun to watch. I like your sarcastic humor and the ending with Insomnia Bracelets, haha!

It's kind of like the fish bracelet pattern but bigger and with more string. I enjoyed the fish pattern one it was easy. This one is easy too, just a bit more time consuming because of all the string. Thanks for the tutorial and the humor! Hope you got some sleep as well! :)

  • u should add it to friendship bracelet.net seriously RIGHT NOW lol

  • best video ever <3333.

  • ITS SO THICK!! =D YAYYY

  • haha you're awesome I love you

  • How Cool:)!

  • I made a smaller one using a lot less string, but I'm glad you made this one! I like thicker bracelets.

  • this is a pattern its a "fish bracelet"

  • @beachmonkey382 Which pattern number is it?

  • @BeyondBracelets what do you mean by it look it up fish bracelet or cancer bracelet

  • @beachmonkey382 I don't think you understand what I mean. Is THIS pattern posted? Every single "altered" pattern is slightly different than the last. It's not the same as a basic cancer bracelet- it may have a ribbon but there are more things going on like knot type placement to make the background pattern, the order of the colors to make it work, etc.

I've seen the cancer bracelets- the "base" may be a ribbon but the background and base of the ribbon together is what I was asking about.

  • @beachmonkey382 No, that is a completely different pattern. They just look similar.

  • wow, ill have to wait on doing this one, its super advance.... but i like it, it has a 3D look when done, basicly this bracelet has a 3D pattern. i wish i could look at the picture and just make the bracelet. your amazing :D

  • Wow you made this by yourself?! I don't have patience for that o.o This is cool :D I really like the colors you used :)

  • @LinababyLyrics I tried to use colors similar to the original bracelet (just to make it easier to notice if the pattern was identical) but yeah, the colors were a little different but it was still similar enough to keep me focused on the identical look.

  • this sounds evil but i'd rather watch you struggle than read it because i understand it better visually.

  • @K8e92 Haha. Well, then thankfully I didn't speed up the video (despite really wanting to) since it was so long.

I decided not to speed up at all since I know that intermediate level people watch these videos to advance and it's pretty stupid of me to take that learning step away from them just because it's too sped up. Besides, any real "advanced" level could just use the description, right?

  • @BeyondBracelets i could use the description but i like to watch it being made. i dunno, its just easier

  • I have worked with a 1 inch. Piece for my friend it is not fun

  • WOAH! A little to advanced for me ;P

  • This is pretty much a double color changing diamonds..
