I teach my students to speak and communicate... to express their ideas, feelings and opinions in an intelligible manner... classifying and obsessing about minor grammatical points is a block to effective communication and prevents fluid speech. Out of courtesy I refrain from highlighting your grammatical errors in English.

You can spoil spanish even more and communicate like this: "Yo QUERER tu HABLAR con MI", Of course we'll understand and won't discriminate you since we're overly welcoming. But, to be able to say that your spanish is sooo good, you first need to make nouns, adjectives, verbs, articles, etc agree in gender and number which is sth even an illiterate spanish speaker does when speaking. We don't mock foreigners cuz of it anyway.

Lo aprendí por el discurso de él... en unos seis meses, lo cual es bastante impresionante teniendo en cuenta que nunca había estudiado de antemano o nunca haber tomado una clase... obviamente, esto abre la posibilidad de pequeños errores gramaticales en realidad no afectan su capacidad para comunicarse de manera efectiva... "mi español es bastante fluida"?? "la uso a diario"?? "más que Inglés"?? I know that when you're learning you can commit many mistakes and that's more than normal but you overvalue your skills in spanish, I have an american friend whose spanish is 99% perfect and he tells me he'd like to improve it, that's to be a humble person!

I teach my students to speak and communicate... to express their ideas, feelings and opinions in an intelligible manner... classifying and obsessing about minor grammatical points is a block to effective communication and prevents fluid speech. Out of courtesy I refrain from highlighting your grammatical errors in English.

You can spoil spanish even more and communicate like this: "Yo QUERER tu HABLAR con MI", Of course we'll understand and won't discriminate you since we're overly welcoming. But, to be able to say that your spanish is sooo good, you first need to make nouns, adjectives, verbs, articles, etc agree in gender and number which is sth even an illiterate spanish speaker does when speaking. We don't mock foreigners cuz of it anyway.

Structurally it's incredibly simple, but thanks to its massive vocabulary and flexible ability to convert nouns to verbs to adjectives etc... it's incredibly expressive :-D I advise you to keep studying... The world is; and anywhere you go on this planet, the only language that you can ALWAYS communicate in is English... It's THE International Language

Her english won't ever be native obviously cuz it's not her mother language, most english native speakers can't learn a little decent spanish, in fact, it's hard to find them to be bilingual. Shakira can speak 4 languages. Anyway, this parody was funny, it really made me laugh.
