Sounds like a great birth, except for the epidural not working like it should. So glad to see a planned epidural on YT. Still not sure if I'm going to go there myself, but I'm betting I will. Why been in agony if you don't have to be? Both of your boys are complete cuties!

I love when Charlie farted so cute! I had the same feeling when I was 10cm I felt so much pressure and it felt amazing to push :)

@perfectnpink100 Lol, he was farting on me the whole time after that! Little farts mcgee. And YES! I always heard that when you're able to push it makes it feel so much better and I just couldn't believe it.....until it actually happened. What a relief to push. :)

I only had contractions in my ass. I don't even know what a normal contraction feels like, all I know is I had the poo's and only felt massive pain and pressure in my butt. I guess they call that back labor? Felt strange to me! I still go back and forth on the epidural. Did it without the first time, but I dunno about the second time. I'll just go with it I guess. No birth plan, no expectations. We are SO similar when it comes to our views on birthing our babies! haha. Loved your video!

@holdendmb And also....I am SO happy I didn't have contractions in my butt the entire time. Lol. They were all in my abdomen/uterus/upper leg area. If they were in my ass the entire time I don't think I could have handled it! lol.

It sounded like a long labor with sending you home and all. Glad the pitocin worked fast for you and glad jack is doing good. Charlie is soo cute.

@wErHoPiNg4BaBy It actually wasn't too bad. I mean, that night of the 28th it was false labor and ended up stopping....as bad as I wanted it to continue. Lol. It all REALLY started back up thenight of the 30th after 7pm and he was born at 725am....so it wasn't too long, ya know? And yes....that pitocin kicked me up to 10cm and ready to push in just minutes....which was awesome. Like seriously...how can your body just STOP progressing once it's so far along. blows my mind. Lol.

You are so funny! I love your descriptions of things! I'm glad things progressed rather well...what a blessing in disguise that it's a blur --times of dilation and progression---at least it didn't drag on like CRAZY.I'm glad they broke your water....sucky that the numbness kind of went away on the right side.....I can't even imagine how much that'd suck. I can't wait to have my body back too! eeek! so exciting! thank you for sharing!

Great story! Sounds like everything went really well :) I am hoping that when i have to have the antibiotics that i dont poo like you did the first time, but hey i guess there isnt much i can do lol. glad that didnt happen to you this time! And getting him out in 6 pushes is amazing! you go girl!! and im so excited to have her out and to have my body back i cant imagine how good that must feel!

@TeaandTimW707 You know, I asked the nurses and doctors if they had ever seen anything like that before (the whole diarrhea thing) and they all said they had NEVER seen anyone react to it like that. So seriously....it had to have been a huge fluke. And you're right about the body thing. It's LOVELY being able to bend over completely and not have your back hurt and to roll over in bed and to drink an entire glass of water and NOT have to pee 5 minutes later and then every 2 mins following. Lol.

Totally understood the snapping at the husband while in labor thing. My husband likes to make jokes to " take my mind off the pain " - right. *rolls eyes*. I love him to death but sometimes he just kills me. Glad your pushing this time was shorter than with Charlie - mine was the same way this time luckily. An hour and a half with Isabella and like maybe 5-10 mins with Silas - a welcome break!! I can't believe that you had to come back and wait in the waiting room - I would have been like

@mrssaraprice Man Im so thankful too....about the pushing thing. I mean...I only pushed for about 30 minutes with Charlie which I know isn't too bad but to cut that down to about 6 minutes with Jack...SCORE. lol. And yeah....the husbands....gotta love em. :)

Jenny I am so proud of you. My epidural wore off and yeah it totally feels like you are taking the shit of your life!!!! I am glad that you didn't have to push for hours. How is Charlie doing with the new baby?

Charlie is doing good with him. He'll smile when we put Jack near him and when he's on the changing part of the playard Charlie will try to grab his feet but other than that Charlie just kind of does his own thing and hangs out. Like Jack doesn't even exist yet.

YAY! Congratulations!! I have a question for you, Are you plan on having another and will you decide to ttc so that all the kids are very close in age like Charlie and Jack are or will you have a larger age gap. @babydreams87 Oh man, my husband is already joking about starting to plan for #3. Im like....You dont have to carry the baby....we're waiting! The plan as of right now is to wait until Jack is at least 1 year and 3 months. That way if we get lucky and get pregnant right away again there will be 2 years between that one and Jack. BUT....who knows....if things end up not being so hard we might try earlier. Kind play it by ear. :) Im still trying to figure out if I want a #3...a girl might be nice.

@MUSleger I think my motivation to get it done was because the first week we had Jack home my husbands dad was visiting....and then in a few days my mom will be here for a week, then the day after she leaves my husband mom will be here for a week....so it was either now or not for a loooong time. :) And even though the epi wore out on me towards the end I'm glad I was able to feel some of it. It totally helped.

@laurasarah2011 You don't even know how nice it is to be able to completely bend over to pick toys up off the floor now. And to not have to pee every 5 minutes. I love it. Lol. So far having the 2 is easy peasy just because Jack sleeps ALL day. And thankfully my husband is off work for a few weeks so I have his help around the house. :) We'll see how it goes when he goes back to work though.
