i believe this is the same one we watched at my uncle bob's in tacoma when we were very small.. he set up the projector screen and got the film going, that was a real treat..never dreamed i would youtube it 40+ years later and have a flashback! brings back good memories :) thx for sharing!
hello, although i agree with your comment, i can say im an 18 year old and ive been watching woody woodpecker for a couple of hours now and im downloading some too, i love woody woodpecker :) just to let you know that some young people appreciate true cartoons lol
Castle Films had the exclusive rights to distribute Walter Lantz's theatrical cartoons for home projection viewing on 16mm {and eventually, 8mm} film, beginning in the '50s, right through the '70s- "Termites from Mars" (1952) was one of them. This print was locally distributed by the "Commerical and Home Movie Service" of Allentown, Pa.

Castle Films offered the Woody cartoons in both color as well as black & white for the home market in 8mm, super 8 & 16mm film.

Man shows this to the kids in my school and age range (13-18) and most of them would probably not really care about these old gems. BUT I DO!
