After working on them in the past they have shocking suspension with crap stock bushes, the electrics were made by kids at pre-school, they have a fairly unreliable engine- should of used the volvo 20v block and who ever designed the front end and the way the bonnet opens for access just wants a good slap.
Pinnifarina should of stuck to designing proper cars!

A real R32 is 4WD and as stock they have 250hp and this was a rolling 'race'. So this was never a race it was just a way to make this Coupe look better. Vid was posted 2009 so the car has probably fallen to pieces by now.

@Vwrexy Die wird der GTi fahrer auch brauchen der 5 Zyl Turbo im Fiat geht in 6,5 sek auf 100 der is in jeder lebenslager schneller ein ein G5 GTi, den hab ich selbst mitm 328er hinter mir gelassen ab 120 zog ich immer weg vom GTi.

ive owned both a corrado vr6 and a fiat coupe 20vt the 20vt is a lot faster than the vr6 standard and when chiped the 20vt is in a different league. the corrado is a better overal car seemed to handles a lot better either that it was because the coupe was getting to the corners at much higher speeds the corrado was better made to i had to spend virtually no money on repairs on the vr6 the coupe cost me over 2000 in 2 years on repairs
with the novitec chip and a exhaust youl get about 260hp and a shitload of torque boost was mad with the novitech chip 1.5 bar in the midrange my old 20vt felt quicker than my e36 m3 but the 20vt was far to fast for its handling and brakes
What a stupid video. All the other cars were faster - they only brake after a short time --> so it isnt realy inteligent to say that your cars faster if you can`t see the lights of the brakes of the other cars. My colt would be faster:)!
I would rather have any of those cars in that clip over a Fiat Coupe for the simple fact Fiats are worth nothing. People are practically giving them away lol
Funny you should mention Golfs. I have a Mk1 Golf GTi and a Corrado VR6, both appreciating classics. Corrado is as quick as a 20vt, handles better, sounds better, better build quality and still worth 4k even though its 15 years old. The Golf speaks for its self really. Came 2nd in top 100 greatest cars ever made piped to 1st by the Mclaren F1, a truly iconic car.
@fentonjd Your right, on paper the 20vt is slightly quicker but in reality these figures are hardly noticable. My next door neighbour has a 20vt and we both agreed after a quick spin. To be honest if it wasn't for the reliability and repair costs I would have a 20vt to. Like the bloke said above, chip a 20vt and it would be in a different league but you could spend £900 on a VR6 and strap a vortech charger unit to it and you have 300bhp ;o)

And the sound is awesome!! I'ts not all about the money!!!!
what cars are you on about then? 220bhp in a fwd car is pretty darn quick for standard, and where are you gonna get the style in other cars like the coupe does! you can pivk a coupe up for 2k and chip it for £150 and you can easily get 300hp without changing the internals! the is and will be the best car for your money. id have 5cyl sound over a 4 cyl evo or subaru!
I realy don´t like the 5cyl coupesound it´s not the same as an Audi RS2.
That´s the point, everybody can buy a fiat coupe nowadays the cars are beeing sold for nothing. 300hp out of the original Turbo is not possible write what you like I know the Coupé owned my self 2 of those when they were worth money. Go get yourself a real job and buy a real car.

wie dem auch sei nur der vergleich , ist fürn a.rsch . turbo ist was anderes wie sauger und dann kommt es noch auf das leistungs gewicht an .

Very fast and nice car, fiat fastest car ever.
After remap 260/270hp and 400nm is possible.
But you cant beat that porsche mate.
And that TT does same speed if it is the 2.0 TSFI.

0-60 in 6.3 seconds. It his 100mph nearly 2 seconds quicker than the Astra VXR, and tops out at 155mph..awesome awesome machines.

The coupe 20vt is on paper quicker to 60 than the VR6, and tops out at 155mph compared to 146mph for the VR6. Coupe is heavier as well...
In terms of mid range, the 20VT is 2 seconds quicker to 100mph than the astra VXR so its not looking good for the VR6 in a drag race.
In terms of 'classic status'... the Corrado is a very interesting car, as is the Fiat Coupe.
Coupe was the fastest FWD car in the world at its release.
