@TheRationalizer Zakir Naik knows jack about vedas. First off, there is no relationship between Veda and Bhavishya purana. Secondly, they are book of knowledge they don't prescribe any rules. In fact, they have nothing to do with religion. They describe the nature of Brahma as seen by the Rishis. They don't ask you to follow anything or pray to any god or discuss superiority or inferiority of one god over other. Finally, and this is important they are open to interpretations and discussions.

The word “unclean” does not refers to physical uncleanness, but to impurity of their doctrines, their behaviour. “They shall not approach the Sacred Mosque” means that they are not allowed to perform Hadj while implementing their uncivilized traditions such as entering the Mosque dancing in naked state with idols in their hands. As far as the sura 9 verse 30 is concerned, it tells the truths or would you deny the fact that Ezra is son of God for Jews just like Jesus is son of God for Christians?

So, Jesus is “God” because he is son of “God”, the father. This is what Christians believe and Quran is saying what they really believe. So, Quran is telling the truth no matter you accept it or not.

When I began to study the Koran, the holy book of Islam, I found many unreasonable ideas. The women in the Koran were treated as slaves. They are nothing but sexual objects. I looked around me and found religion oppressive in real life. They considered and treated women as chattel slaves. I write against the religion because if women want to live like human beings, they will have to live outside the religion and Islamic law.

Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge " (9:73) and promises us in the fight for His cause whether we slay or are slain we return to Paradise (9:111). In Paradise he will "wed us with Houris (celestial virgins) pure beautiful ones" (55:56). There we are promised to eat and drink pleasantly for what we did (56:19), have "boys like hidden pearls" (52:24) and "youth never altering in age "(76:19)

@TheRationalizer Zakir Naik knows jack about vedas. First off, there is no relationship between Veda and Bhavishya purana. Secondly, they are book of knowledge they don't prescribe any rules. In fact, they have nothing to do with religion. They describe the nature of Brahma as seen by the Rishis. They don't ask you to follow anything or pray to any god or discuss superiority or inferiority of one god over other. Finally, and this is important they are open to interpretations and discussions.

The word “unclean” does not refers to physical uncleanness, but to impurity of their doctrines, their behaviour. “They shall not approach the Sacred Mosque” means that they are not allowed to perform Hadj while implementing their uncivilized traditions such as entering the Mosque dancing in naked state with idols in their hands. That is what they were used to do at that time. (Alfiqahtul Islami, Page 434-435)

As far as the sura 9 verse 30 is concerned, it tells the truths or would you deny the fact that Ezra is son of God for Jews just like Jesus is son of God for Christians?
According to Islam „Schirk“ (= Arabic, to place someone beside God) is the biggest of all sins and is unforgivable. So, the verse 30 declares His punishment for those who commit shirk by the words „May Allah destroy them“.

Before the conquest of Mecca the unbelievers had been entering Sacred Mosque in naked state with idols in their hands while performing Hadj. The verse indicated below forbids them to do so.

In Christianity there is a dogma called trinity. It implies that three, “God” the father, “God” the son and “God” the holy ghost together are one. So, Jesus is “God” because he is son of “God”, the father. This is what Christians believe and Quran is saying what they really believe. So, Quran is telling the truth no matter you accept it or not.

When I began to study the Koran, the holy book of Islam, I found many unreasonable ideas. The women in the Koran were treated as slaves. They are nothing but sexual objects. I looked around me and found religion oppressive in real life. They considered and treated women as chattel slaves. I write against the religion because if women want to live like human beings, they will have to live outside the religion and Islamic law.

I got a very intence technical question that I would love to ask Dr Zakir Naik that has not been asked by anyone before/yet. Reason why I say Zakir Naik is because he gives very logical explanation. @Dambis0 You are confusing the teachings of Islam with the teachings of the Talmud. There is not a single reference in Qur'an or the Hadith (narrations about the prophet Muhammad pbuh) where non-muslims are said to be less than fully human. Bring your proof if you are sincere and honest.

The Prophet himself set the example of unleashing violence by invading the Jewish settlements breaking the treaties he had signed with them and confiscating their belongings massacring others and taking their wives and children as slaves. He inspected the youngsters and massacred all those who had pubic hair along with the men and those who were younger he kept as slaves. He distributed the women captured in his raids among his soldiers keeping the prettiest for himself (33:50)

The prophet s.a.w. never broke one treaty. The Jews, who broke the covenant with the muslims by joining the enemy & exposing them to an existential threat, were sent away unmolested, only their treacherous leaders executed.

You are quoting peaceful verses, but there were violent and oppressive ones that came later. He was asked by his followers which ones to follow. He said the later ones canceled the earlier ones - the law of abrogation. Do some more research! Thanks again for your words. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge " (9:73) and promises us in the fight for His cause whether we slay or are slain we return to Paradise (9:111). In Paradise he will "wed us with Houris (celestial virgins) pure beautiful ones" (55:56). There we are promised to eat and drink pleasantly for what we did (56:19), have "boys like hidden pearls" (52:24) and "youth never altering in age "(76:19)

@Dambis0 9:73-74 revealed in the context of the hypocrites, those who did not join the prophet (s.a.w.) to fight threatening forces, preferring to stay out of harm's way. The hypocrites were treacherous folk who again & again exposed the muslim community to danger; some deserted, some joined the enemy etc. Even so, the Qur'an, as exemplified in this very chapter - named At-Tawbah, meaning "repentance" - provides the possibility of God's Forgiveness for those who sincerely repent!

Allah says in ch 2 :213. Mankind were one community and Allah sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them He sent the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed. And only those to whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it after clear proofs had come unto them through hatred, one to another. Then Allah by His Leave guided those who believed to the truth of that wherein they differed. And Allah guides whom He wills to a Straight Path.
