Don't be so serious. The song is perfect in part because of its humorous element. Outside of that, it has a real quality of beauty to it. People wrote with such sincerity in those days. If it wasn't sincere, it didn't fly. Nowadays we've nothing but crap. The problem with music these days is that it doesnt sound good. Back in the days of Simon and Garfunkle, Joan Baez, and Bob Dylon, they preformed their stuff live all the time and it was how it sounded on the records. The live CD's i find of the older music is really cool because of the cometary of the singers and that the music is really good. Music now is interesting and good as far as the CD goes but few bands can actually perform live. Its just like movies: all about effects

They think "schoolyard" represents a college campuses and "the radical preacher" represents Fr.
