  • Evil!

  • awesome stuff man who cares if you make mistakes your doing what most of us want to do and doing a kick ass job at it

  • fuck the haters, nice cover. i wish i had ur equipment

  • at 1:19 you miss it by a 1/4 of a sec. but i guess its because the drumstick slipped from your hand a little (just reminding so you can play perfect)

  • maybe bring the crashes down in your eq but you play this like a champ. i think i might subscribe. thanks for entertaining me, sir.

  • Awesome man

  • 4:54, The loops are a little delayed, but nice work. Its a thriller for drummers to cover. Great song too.

  • Bravo !

  • fucking awesome once again

  • bassdurms... fast... gotta love it! Great job! Check out his cover of Hybrid Stigmata!

  • pretty good cover, very accurate. obviously you need to work on your cymbal technique, otherwise there would not be so many broken cymbals

  • exelente perfecto

  • hte snare sounds like a metalbucket :D

  • IT'S FUCKING REALLY GOOD MAN!!!

  • guys... stop compareing with krimh :P krimh is the FUCKING DRUMMER OF DECAPITATED!

  • tight

  • best one

  • Everything pretty decent overall except your hi hat is incorrect at 2:05...

  • Excellent cover. One suggestion would be to use more wrist and less arm/elbow in your technique.

  • i think you are more on the "money" .. but the Krimh recording is better just solely on a sound level... but i am still admiring the hell out of your ability

  • there always ahs to be those six losers that thumb this down

  • Great recording holy shit. Everything sounds like heaven. Love the dual ride work!

  • really good drumming!! and i love your drums!

  • Nice Drumcover Dude ... good doublebase work and sound s good !!! 5*

  • I think Krimh's is quite better, at 1:10 , Krimh uses just the one ride whereas this guy needs the two of them... Show less skill imo ;3

  • @JakeDrums69 Well Nick Barker plays it with two rides as well, so by your logic Krimh is better than Nick Barker.

Both WAX1002 and Krimh did a fantastic job on this song. It's so pathetic to see people like you trying to denigrate one of them at all, let alone for such a stupid reason.

  • fucking awesome !!

  • So beautiful stable play very impressive

  • Did you connect your vid cam to your mixing board through a mic input on the camera errrr?

  • HUGE BELL!!

  • nice viejo gj

  • AWESOME! :-)

  • I think you an d Kerim are amazing drummers. His sound quality is just a little better in the recordings,, but you're technicality is unbelievable. : )

  • this and krimhs are the best on youtube by far.

  • AWESOME!

  • Great drum cover!

  • love the pedals, what kind you using?

  • probebly two dualist pedals. Thats what the actual drummer uses in DB

  • your retarded or a troll shut the fuck up

  • False...

  • @EmoblogerKid idiot

  • NO krimh is little better imo:D

  • little?? no offense to this guy but krimh playes guitar and bass besides drums AND writes kick ass songs

  • @dannefosho I'd say they're tied. they both show their talent greatly.

  • 100% Superb

  • That was amazing. im working on this song myself so watching it from such a skilled drummer helps a lot.

    keep it up.

  • That was amazing and dude those cymbols are torn up mine are doin the same pressure cracks every where

  • yes yes, kick is triggered...

    Great drumming.

  • you are facking god of drum mather fagker

  • I love your drum sound

  • it's miced and probably mixed so it's going to always sound great

  • in my opinion i think if you let your snare ring a little bit it would sound pretty damn good

  • 9/10

  • Your crash that you use @ the begin is cracked!

  • oh! he probably did not know that...

  • awesomeeeee .. !!!!!

  • brutally good quality. nice job man.

  • Very good quality

  • great great great sound!!

  • fucking love that ride cymbal

  • good job

  • how do you get your bass drums to sound like that??

  • triggers

  • no. short and punchy. i didn't mean speed.

  • triggers

  • Triggers.

  • triggers don't make you play faster. they make it harder to play cause you have to be more precise

  • i know, i was replying to

    wolfboii999's comment.

  • are awesome!!!

  • you can also get metal or plastic pads that you stick on your bass drum, but they dont give a sound as refined as you hear here.

  • That rocked!

  • love the sound

  • killer cover...amazing sound....wow

  • Great job! Just turn the cymbals down in the mix

  • Best so far! gratz

  • ru using triggers???

    everything sounds super clean

this is the best drum cover i have ever seen dude no lie...if u ever see them live u should ask them to play this song live with them..show them this vid...they might let u haha

  • Now this video of yours is great.. I want to see you play something that you have created though. Really blow our minds.

  • Yeah, I wonder if he's in a band

  • Was curious about what kind of camcorder you used. I have yet to be able to capture good quality sound for my drum videos.

  • Dude please for the love of satan, teach me to play the drums like that :D!!!!

  • the one is a laptop.. the other console is a mixer.. : )

  • lol you added so many extras to the into, i love it.

    amazing work bro

  • The bass and your ride sound so amazing.

  • I thought it was dead tight. ^^

  • The bass drums were often quite sloppy, but the part at 2:47 was really tight!

  • actually, i was going to say that was the sloppiest part.

  • very good eq and drums paly dude watch my answer video

  • i reallly like your ride on your right hand side

    huge bell on it

what brand and size ride cymbal is that?

  • I'm guessing Paiste or something like that

  • yeah! like the other guy was saying the bass is so acurate and rich-sounding, almost electronic. its so perfect

  • SOOOOOOOOO

    GOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DUDE! ur the dogs bollocks! those kicks were almost orgasmic. keep it up man. i wanna see more!

  • fucking insane!

  • Double bass is very accurate.....

    Very nice!

I still don't know how to mix music to my drumming on my vids but i;ll figure it out.

  • Damn that was insane!

  • good man

  • I think the cracked cymbal looks pretty badass.

  • which one? 3 of them are craked.

  • I think he means the Sabian China :)

  • dude ur a god!

  • hes fucking good but not as good as 66samus i think. just my opinion. calm down

  • you do the best dimmu covers in youtube

  • he has like 100-400€ chymbals, man i really dont think he wants em cracked. but maybe the cracked one was just an accident.

  • he's hitting with the stick directed to the center, if you dont want your cymbals cracked, you should hit them more 'sliding' along the edge

  • you hit your cymbals the wrong way, that's why they have all been cracked

  • lulz? whats wrong with you? i wanna see you try better...

  • post a video of you playing this flawlessly

  • @999Ensuri999: Envious, much? :P

  • animaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!!!

  • yawa ka!

  • DUDE!!

You rock the chorus so badly!! All of your fills are awesome! Gotta love that china cimbal!

  • a hell lot better!

  • This not a battle dude

  • i really preffer Krimh

  • its not a competition. they are both amazing at what they do.

  • what judd said

  • Really nice sounds, if you like them tricked up.. The playing is quite good too, some minor timeproblems but who am I to say. Oh, and nice setup you have there!

  • your drum sound very good and what's your micto mark

  • Excellent job man!!! I enjoyed the video very much :D NICE!!! \m/

  • You're one of the best drummers I've ever see.

  • Wow! You're drum skills is dam good!

Keep on the good work man! :)

  • You are the freakin man Wax - I'd say one of the best drummers on YouTube. I am dyin to see a vid w/ some foot work! Keep on posting the Dimmu Vids!

  • Righteous!

  • wtf?

  • great name! hail arcturus!

  • Thanks, yes its the best band in the world.

  • great dudee!.. =D

  • Oh, something else, make that snare sound BIGGER! Apply some compressing or even hardlimiting for all I care. It will sound much more impressive with a bigger sounding snare.

For the rest, keep em up bro, good stuff.

  • I would experiment with mic placement first. If that doesnt work then close-mic and use something like Drumagog to trigger a sampled snaredrum.

  • God, please no triggered snare. A drummer with a decently tuned snare does NOT need snare triggers.

If druminstruments sound oké acousticly then those should definately be recorded and mixed acousticly, because I'm getting sick of the synthetic machine sounds of many recent albums. Time to bring the organic sound back, so don't tell this man to go trigger his snare in whatever way :) Triggering bassdrum, perfectly fine, but constant triggering of the snare drum should never be needed.

  • I agree, but a decent sampled snaredrum is better than a horrible real snare in any case.

I like to use samples for blasting and the real snare for the rest.

  • Everyone can improve his/her snaresound to an acceptable level without the use of triggers. That includes mr. WAX and I hope he does.

He can start with putting the snare harder in the mix :)

  • i have never used a trigger on my snare it was just damped too much. and if any one has made any videos where you put the music over after the video is compressed and after putting it here the quality drops quite a bit. i didnt want to over power the song with drums i wanted the drums to fit with the song.

  • Good work, what bassdrum sample are you using? Is it from a triggermodule? Or just a sample library on your laptop.

  • i use the dm5 module its the speed metal kicks with a little compression and eq's thats all

  • no fucking way. thats what i use. i love you.

  • well, the sound is getting better, especially bass and snare. but i wanna get really smashed by my 5.1 surroundsound headset, so record it a bit louder :P
