I love how the acoustic version incorporates the Kris Menace remix of the song (especially as it's my favourite remix of this track). The backing vocals are awesome too. Can't stop listening!

Do you know what "acoustic" means... are you confusing it with "a cappella"? I was at this performance and none of the instruments were plugged into amps. Unless you're talking about the fact that they're using microphones to amplify the sound... but if you think of MTV's Unplugged concerts, those are all considered to be "acoustic" and that is no different than what she's doing right here.

Roisin & her back-up singers were all using microphones, and their voices were clearly amplified, and possibly processed. The fact that the instruments were using microphones as well just means the pickups weren't attached directly to the guitar bodies. The sound, especially the upright bass, was WAY amplified. To me, acoustic is un-amplified, un-processed, non-electric - like her busking performance in the West End. That's acoustic. I'm finished with this.

@topcover2000 yeah, but thats still acoustic. The "processed" sounds u hear are actually the acoustics of the room that make it sound like a reverb delay effect. In her electro synth-pop songs her voice has added effects to prevent it from sounding too dry in an electro track, alot of electro/house producers do that... however in her live acoustic performance above its not needed since the sound of the acoustic instruments are dry and natural. They used mics and amplify the sound in the room.

there is an instrumental version of the album version on the promo cd of the overpowered single, there are copies on ebay usually (not the acoustic version ie: this version, the version on the album/video)
