Hi Graham, you said you did a video on it but I guess I haven't found it yet. Whenever I'd like processing done on one part of a track but not another, I use the AudioSuite option, but while it saves power I suppose, it's inconvenient if I find I don't like it much afterall and want to redo it. How do you automate a plug-in like you did with the EQ? Thanks so much.

If you add like a distortion or bitcrush/decimator to that effect it sounds like a really cool telephoney breaking up type effect.

Great tip. Sometimes I like adding a touch of distortion just to add a little hair. I use one of the AIR plugins that comes with PT and it sounds great. I also own an actual phone with a 1/4 out that I run through my guitar pedal board and into my amp when I want to do this out of the box.
This video series has been amazing. Def thinking of picking up your drum series.
